Course Curriculum Overview

4

Ba Spanish curriculum is pretty similar to the dele exam that you would need to take in the future, it's like ielts but for spanish. Everything that you've already covered in class is asked in the year end exams it's pretty doable with minimum efforts

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 26000 rupees for an year, it includes our tution fee and college amenities like computer lab, library ect. examination fee is taken seperately every semester. Last year the fees was 21000 it was increased by 5000 rupees.

Campus Life

4

Montage is the annual fest of JMC held during February. We also have departmentmental fests for ba multidisciplinary it's melange held during February last year we had Yuvraj Dua come as a speaker. This year we have also gotten smart boards in classrooms. I personally am part of the debating society which helped me a lot to become more comfortable in my own skin

Admission

I applied to other du colleges above JMC but since I did not make my cuet preference sheet properly I got JMC in the 2nd round but still JMC is a pretty solid choice specially for bcom and bcom hons students. My course combination is not given by any other college other than JMC at the moment

Faculty

4

The faculty is pretty approachable there is no such teacher student gap. You can clear doubts whenever you feel comfortable. Yearly we have 2 semester exams along with continuous and internal assessment throughout the year.

Night Life

3

In college we don't really have a night life once a year the college has a 2 day camp for the Christian students when they stay within the campus apart from that classes get over by 5:00 pm maximum and you can stay for extra curricular activities it gets very peaceful after 4 pm on campus. Near the college we have satya niketan that is a student area has multiple pocket friendly cafes and food places

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is rigid, teaching methods are not immersive and are boring. As a humanities student, curriculum is more about knowing different theories and how they are applicable in the contemporary world. Teaching methods should be more immersive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not curriculum but i had humanities back then in school and i love political science anyday so i just picked it up. As far as the second point is concerned so political science is all about real world issues. You step out of your home and every action you do is shaped by your political decisions i.e democracy. Improvements could be done in arrangement of syllabus. Frequency and timing is perfect but the difficulty level should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Was interested in political science, how it affects the life around. Not very well . Mostly theoretical, not very keen on contemporary aspects but does build understanding of ongoing events . More real world examples and less focus on HPT.
