DTU is a diety of universities!

Besides DTU's emphasis on a positive social environment through organised activities within the College, it was also attractive to me because of its national and international reputation. While I applied for the same course at DU and IPU, DU had a very high level of competition for BA Economics (Hons) because of its extremely high CUET cut-off. As a result of this intense competition and CUET cut-offs at DU, I was unable to get into any of the DU Economics Programs I wanted. I was interested in two of the IPU Colleges that had degrees in Economics and decided DTU was a better option because of the academic environment and long-term value it offered. When I compared the colleges affiliated with IPU to those affiliated with DTU, I found that DTU had a large centralised campus with better facilities, more active student societies, and a greater level of recognition. The fact that USME is able to take an interdisciplinary approach to combine Economics with a management perspective had a notable impact on my decision to attend DTU. In my experience at DTU, the entire admissions process was extremely straightforward and based on merit. To qualify for BA Economics (Hons), applicants need to have Mathematics as a Compulsory Subject and Language AND 2 Main Subjects in 12th Class to Qualify. In addition to being one of the preferred examinations for this course, the admissions for BA Economics (Hons) at DTU were done through CUET-UG. Each year, the CUET cut-off will be different depending on your test score, your category, and the amount of competition for seats in your chosen College. My parents and friends stuck to me for confirming Hansraj College but I wanted DTU provided the placements and internships it provides. If you are from Delhi and you want to study economics Hons, I don't think there's a better university than DTU for BAE. Only the fees is issue for some otherwise cut-offs too are quite lower than most DU colleges. Admission process is little lengthy as 12th results came in March end and CUET in April. After that, I applied at DTU and DU both and I got admission in DU too. BMS at SSCC was once I thought should be the best deal but then I chose DTU as it is definitely far good than most DU colleges....Read More

In Delhi DTU is the best engineering college and therefore I never looked beyond and my 12th score was over 90%. Also JEE rank was 4000 and it was marginal for IT as for CSE it was below 3000. So, I had to take IT as IT was something which I wanted to study always....Read More

Admission process of our college is as per other DU or other universities which are controlled by government. Our college USME is a private college but it comes under DTU which is a central University and therefore Common University Test scores are what is valid here as well.
