- Sports arena is there but college doesnt value sports as it should be the case.
Course Curriculum Overview
Economics Hons as it teaches us all the complex things and international trade and international relations on which the world works today can only be taught in economics. Our course gives us a clear picture on how bilateral and multinational trades happens and that's more than good reason to not criticize the course I am pursuing.
Internships Opportunities
SRCC's core placements companies are NBFC's Banks and Merchant Banking Names like Nomura, Blackstone, Bain Capital and DeShaw to name a few. If one manages to get intenrships in any of these companies then stiped of 20-30k is easily provided by them.
Placement Experience
EY has been the biggest recruiter but Deloitte, Adani Enterprises and corporates like them have ensured smooth functioning of placements as B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) Students placements percentage is over 90%.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRCC B.A Economics (Hons) program fees breakdown is like this, as 28200 is tution fees and then library fees is 1000, sports fees is 1200, GST 3100. This fees is a little over 33000 and also examination fees is also need to be paid and that is 1200 per semester.
Campus Life
SRCC campus is good sized and is at a very good location. So in terms of facilities and the area, SRCC is a gold dust. Also there are numerous societies including Economics Society and the one which I lead is Cases over Coffee.
Admission
99 and more percentile are needed by General Students to get admission here in SRCC. Luckily no Delhi quota as otherwise the admission would have been even tougher. I was not rejected by an college but course was B.Com (Hons) was my first choice but unfortunately couldn't get it and therefore had to chose BA Economics Hons.
Faculty
SRCC faculties cant be compared to anyone but God. Yes in terms of skills and knowledge they can't be humans. From scratch till end the way they teaches us as economics is one of the vastest course of DU but still the way they teach us is simply outstanding.
Night Life
We are located in the North Campus and therefore famous Hudson Lane is close to our college. From bookshops to eating joints one can almost kill a day roaming there. Delhi's best Lodhi Garden is also close to our college.
