Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing B.Com (H) from this college so I will talk about that only. I found the exam structure to very comfortable for the students as the internals are conducted in the month of October which helps the students to prepare to the best of their ability.
Placement Experience
The average packages that the college told us at the orientation sessions were 3-4 lacs and the highest package is about 10-12 lacs. These may differ year to year.
College Events
The college is so happening. If you enter the college you will find some events to be going on every day in college. As a student every single day I receive messages related to the events. Each and every special day is celebrated and religious days like Gurpurabs and national days like independence day are celebrated every year in the auditorium.
Fee Structure And Facilities
To be very honest, I found the fee structure very expensive initially but after entering into, it was okay and I think everyone feels the same as I felt. Fess structure for 1st year is as follows - B.Com - 27200 B.com(h) - 27200 BSC - 45200 Punjabi Hons is also offered by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I have got the admission on merit basis i.e as per the score of class 12. I have not taken any kind of loan for this course/college.
Campus Life
The campus life that I am experiencing is very comfortable and joyful. Everyone here is very helpful and friendly. Especially, the seniors, they will guide you for everything you need in the college from studies to socialising with the people. Almost every sport is being played in college and provides a big exposure to the students.
Alumni/Alumna
My real brother is my mentor as he has also passed out from the same college in which I am currently studying. So, I only ask him why I need any kind of help. I hope each alumni will treat juniors like their younger brothers.
Admission
I got admitted into this college on 4th of July 2019 on the basis of second cut off. The admission process took two hours but was too simplified and the volunteers present during the process were so helpful that no student will face any kind of problem.
Faculty
I found the teachers to be very knowledgeable and informative. They literally know the subjects to the depth and are much qualified. Also, they are very friendly and motivates the students to do better. Teachers also support students who are involved in the societies so that they can socialize more and frame a good curriculum vitae.
