The whole faculty members are very good.
The faculty members are easy to comunicate.
They guides us in each and every way for solving any problem.

Dislikes

The officials are too busy to do work. Every official work is late.
There is no timely exam. They take exam when they are free.
The campus is not tidy at all. Ongoing construction running throughout the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

This forensic course was not available in every college in our state of West Bengal and also there is curiosity to invistigate on different types of cases so I choosen MAKAUT for learning this course.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 176000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship opportunities in this college. No external companies come to this college for placement. Certain internship opportunities come to this college but there is no placement available.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee is Rs 36000 Tution fee for each sem is Rs 20000 Total Course fee is Rs 176000 The course is of 4years. Registration fees is Rs 1200. There is SVMCMC Scholarship which gives Rs 18000 per year.

Campus Life

There is a anual fest that happens every year which is known as Anweshan which happens in the month of November, very famous artist comes and performs here. The library is full of knowledgeable books and different kind of materials.

Admission

First of all I have choosen food science in MAKAUT itself but naturally the curiosity to know and investigate dragged me for learning and taking this subject. So by giving CET which is an entrance exam I have taken admission in MAKAUT

Faculty

I think Btech and BCA are the most best department because they are involved in many cultural activities as well forensic department is also active in all cultural programs. There are 2 semester exam each year and 4CA exam between each semester.

Night Life

There are two gyms in the college one is for the women and one for the men. There are cafeteria known hydrogen and oxygen which is available in our college. The campus timing is from 11 am to 5 pm. The most famous hangout place is at fountain.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
