i pursue cyber security beacuse if it's high demand. and there is a shortage of qualified candidates.Qualified cyber security professionals are assured of a solid job.Cyber professionals protect organizations and individuals from cyber threats , fostering a sense of social responsibility.

1- The year-wise fees i paid 50000 rupees 2- tuition fee=1000 rupees caution fee=8000 rupees registration fee=500 rupees admission fee=20600 rupees lab fee=1000 rupees exam fee=1200 rupees 4- students get the swami vivekananda scholarship

Campus Life

It is good college with a low budget in the current situation.The placement rate of our department is quite good, but the overall placement rate is not good.i am currently in my third year. The highest package offered by Wipro is around 8 LPA

Admission

There are several reasons why I chose Maulana abul kalam azad university of technology because Makaut is dedicated to the all-round development of its student. There are so freedom in Makaut. Makaut is approved by the UGC and AICTE ,and accredited by NAAC.

Faculty

we have less faculty some teachers are so friendly with the students but some are so irritating yeah the faculties are approachable a little bit The name of the faculties i like are sanchayan bhowmik sir, pabitra pal sir, joy samaddar sir and ayan ghosh sir because they teaches so great there are 4 ca 2 pca before the semester exam

Night Life

My nightlife in college campus is awesome for the very first time i spent the nights in my college for the fests. There are so much of events like band battles, dance performances, theme walk and so on and most important the concerts

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
