Course Curriculum Overview

5

The syllabus is easier. It keeps students relax and study with zero pressure. The assignements, class tests and mid term assessments together decides the internal marks for the semester exam qualification.

Internships Opportunities

3

Not really sure about internships as i am a first ywar student. But there are companies like Amazon who provides the internships for students of ASAS. The students are given a gurantee fkr that if they study at the college.

Placement Experience

3

From seventh semester students are eligible for the placements. My plan is to get into a well known advertising company. Students with good marks and cgpa get placed easily. As a firat year student, im not much aure about everything about placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

47200 is the semester fees to be paid every year. Cautio deposit is 3000 there are no such reserved seat for ST SC and Management, because the college is private. Fees for every student in the batch is same. There is a scholarship for students who secured 90 percentage and above marks for their Twlefth qualification exam.

Campus Life

4

College life is so actjve. department fests fpr visual. Media keeps happening. There are two department fests for visual media, camera speaks and chroma. Both are magnificent whwre students vond with each other and create magic.

Admission

College is near to my home and easy to travel. And also it is an afforable college to study Visual Media and Communication than any other college in Kerala. The college is rich with its talebted teachers and students. The college conducts an interview to analyse the students qualities and let them in to the course

Faculty

5

The faculties are all well established and are amiable. They litwrally feels like home. The teachers are from the fields of visual media and communication like advertising, journalism etc. The teacjing wuality is also very good and impressive.

Night Life

5

Kochi iw the place for better bight life.. Hostel studenta who opted for college hostel facilites (girls) cant get out of the college premises without the permission letter. There are cafes hotels and all present near by the college.

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
