- MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 has started for admission to All-India Quota MD/ MS/ DNB Seats. The Final Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 Counselling has been released. Check Allotment PDF Here. Candidates can download the allotment letter online @mcc.nic.in. Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the allotted institute from November 21 to November 27, 2024 for admission confirmation.

- MCC has announced a Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET UG Counselling 2024 for admission to the vacant All-India Quota MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing seats. The last date for online choice filling and locking for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is November 22, 2024 (8 AM). The Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 23, 2024 @mcc.nic.in. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to report to the allotted institute from November 25 to November 30, 2024 (5 PM).

- Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 is ongoing for admission to State Quota MD/MS Seats. The last date for online choice filling for Round 1 Counselling is November 23, 2024 (5 PM). Candidates can register their options online @cee.kerala.gov.in. The Provisional and Final Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 25 and November 26, 2024, respectively. Amrita School of Medicine was established in September 2002 as an integral component of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It is situated on the Kochi campus of Amrita, Kerala. The school offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs like B.Sc, M.Sc, MD/MS/PG Diploma, DM/M.Ch and a five-and-a-half year program in Medicine. The curriculum is based on the rules laid by the Medical Council of India.

Amrita School of Medicine Courses and Admission 2024
MBBS Admission
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with 60% marks in English and 60% marks in PCB/Biotechnology taken together from any State Higher Secondary Board or its equivalent.
- Appearing and scoring a valid rank in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Note: Persons who qualify from foreign universities are required to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
Undergraduate Program Admission
The School of Medicine offers B.Sc program in various specializations in allied health sciences subjects. In order to secure a seat in the B.Sc program, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks.
Note: For B.Sc(Optometry(lateral), the candidate must have done the 2-year Diploma course in Optometry/Ophthalmic Assistant. To apply to the B.Sc(MRT) program, the candidate must have done 10+2 with 60% marks in PCMB.
PG Diploma Admission
- To apply for PG Diploma Programs, the candidate must possess MBBS degree from a recognized Medical college and must have acquired full registration from Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils.
- Final selection of the candidate is based on the rank obtained in the NEET by the candidate.
MD/MS Admission
- The candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College and must have obtained full registration from Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils.
- Only those candidates who are less than the age of 30 are eligible to apply for MD/MS Clinical subjects. Whereas for MD/MS non-clinical subjects, there is no age limit.
- Final selection will be made on the rank obtained by the candidate in the NEET.
DM/M.Ch Admission
- To get admission to the program, the candidate is required to hold MD/MS degree from a recognized Medical college included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and should have obtained full registration from the Medical Council of India.
- Appearing and scoring a valid rank in the NEET is mandatory for the final selection.
M.Sc Program Admission
Amrita School of Medicine offers M.Sc programs in several specializations. The candidate is required to hold Bachelor’s degree in the concerned field with minimum required marks from a recognized institution.

Amrita School of Medicine Doctoral Programs
The school offers research programs in various specialties in pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical departments. The selection of the candidate will be based on the entrance test and a personal interview. Students can apply for the National fellowships through DBT, DST, ICMR.

The college have had a very positive impact on my personality. I have developed myself in this college as a great future doctor. I am really very happy that I took admission in this college because the academic structure and also the faculty of the college both are very good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It's pretty standard curriculum. Exam Structure includes a Sessional exam at the end of every semester. And a University exam preceded by a Pre University exam at the end of every Academic year. There are also End posting exams and other regular and surprise exams in between.
Admission:
It's a rather strict college, so if you're looking to have a lot of fun and no pressure, this wouldn't be the place for you. The Amrita University is well known abroad, and would be beneficial if you're planning a post graduation abroad.

Admission:
The management is restrictive and prevent intermingling of male and female students.It insists on discipline on the part of students and this is reflected in the strict dress codes and numerous rules by which the student has to abide.It also encourages students to practice yoga and meditation. Only vegetarian food is provided in the mess. The central library of the institution has a vast expanse of medical books and journals. The institution is well connected by road and rail. It is also a venue to many important medical conferences, headed by eminent scientists, researchers and doctors.
