Likes

The college campus is okay with nature beauty and good atmosphere. Good auditorium and class rooms
NSS and NCC are doing their best to improve the students .

Dislikes

There no well developed lab rooms for students
More field trips and industrial visits are needed and every semester they need to mention about the visits.
There is no permanent staffs and the management need improvement.

The course is very rare and one of the important in the present scenario. According to the course they have to provide more details in the syllabus but they are not well prepared the syllabus .they have to conduct more field trips and need improvement in that . Exam is okay but not conducted in the right time

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise the tution fee ranges between 1000-2000. The total cost of the course is between 70000 to 80000. Mainly e grants is the main grants for students . So the reservation students with e grants don't need to pay the fees . There is no campus employment opportunities and campus interviews offered by college

Campus Life

Arts day , different special day celebrations , cultural events like onam Christmas day celebrations ,food festival conducted . Freshers day conducted in the July or August month. The library is useful for every students with lot of books , Every class has projector to conduct the smart classes. Sports day is celebrated . There is social groups like NSS and NCC .they help mentally and physically gain strength.

Hostel Facilities

There is less facilities are provided in the hostel. The room is very small and not included enough tables and chairs for students. And the food is just okay . Menu is not better compared with other collages. Registration process are fine and it's affordable. Food quality is low. room with 3 table 3 chairs 1 shelf and double decker bed in the number of 3 . The room is for 6 students but it's quiet congested.

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

The procedure of admission is done through online. So the reservation benefits details are not published . The application form and other fee related are connected by Calicut University website. Exam conducted as semester wise it was easy . The admission procedure need improvement in the sector of details sharing and they need more people when the admission time comes.they have to clearly share the reservation and grants related details time to time .

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

In our college students become eligible for campus selection after the last term without exams and more than 27 big and small companies visited our school and selected more than 42 students. The highest package was 18lakhs and the lowest package was 2lakh per year. The percentage of selection was 62%

Sree Narayana College,Alathur my three Year experience

This course need minimum 70% in 12th science(any) Application form can be found in Calicut University website with a application fee around 100-200 Reservation had many benifits including scholarship and other consession in buying uniform,hostel facilities etc..
