My dream college

Likes

The faculty of our department wad good and helped us in many ways
The ambiance of the college was good even though the infrastructure is bad it had a vibe
The student Union of the college conducted many programmes to entertain the students

Dislikes

The washroom is jot hygiene at all. It smells bad all the while
There could be more sitting or relaxing area for the students in the campus
The hostel food there is so bad one of my hostler friend said that to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods and the curriculum are all good and comfortable for the students they make the students understand the topic very well so that they don't have a confusion in learning the topics. They make us involved.

My experience on my college

Likes

I liked the way how the college promotes NCC and NSS
Conducts programs for improving the involvement of the students into various programmes
The student unions conducts programmes supported by college management to entertain the students

Dislikes

The washroom is not hygiene enough for daily use
Canteen service could be more improved.The existing one is good but more modifications could be made
I heard the opinions from my classmate who is staying in hostel the food there is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that the college offers a good coaching for the course that I choose.They didn't make us feel bad.If we are having any doubt we can approach them and clear doubts.Exams are conducted on the basis of the University basis.They are managable for the students because it comes after a period of 4 or 5 months

Likes

The environment was friendly , i didn't got ragging or anything
it was covered in nature and mountain, it was a pleasant place to be in

Dislikes

the transportation isn't that good, the bus takes a lot of time ,plus it's crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's okay , not the best , but it teaches the basic of business administration and management. It does help in real world application as in a way to manage employees, improve productivity etc, the exams were fine and kind of stressful since it's every single day

Sree Narayana College Alathur EXPECTATIONS V/S REALITY

Likes

The college campus is okay with nature beauty and good atmosphere. Good auditorium and class rooms
NSS and NCC are doing their best to improve the students .

Dislikes

There no well developed lab rooms for students
More field trips and industrial visits are needed and every semester they need to mention about the visits.
There is no permanent staffs and the management need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very rare and one of the important in the present scenario. According to the course they have to provide more details in the syllabus but they are not well prepared the syllabus .they have to conduct more field trips and need improvement in that . Exam is okay but not conducted in the right time

Sree Narayana College,Alathur my three Year experience

Likes

Student friendly Teachers with qualified and knowledgeable persons
Have a good collections of books in Library including study material and novel, stories etc...

Dislikes

There is no campus placement provided by the college
There is no permanent teachers for Bsc Environmental science and water management
There is no seperate lab facilities for environmental students and also there is no field visit provided by University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. Exams are semester wise and they are easy and easily prepared within short period of time

Our Campus provide good infrastructure facilities. Teaching quality is very good teachers are very supportive and helpful. Campus life was really good. Our college have many club which helps the students to follow their passion.

The admission to the college happens on the basis of the merit list. A student has to mention the details of the marks that he/she got in their secondary school examination. A student with more than 80% is eligible to take admission to this college.

Review of my college

Admission:

I chose this institution because it was close to my home. I had good marks so I got a merit list and then to this college. We had to bring a copy of our birth certificate and tenth and twelfth mark list then the principal reviewed my records and allowed my admission. I think entrance exams are also there.
