Sree Narayana College, Alathur Admission Process

Admission at Sree Narayana College, Alathur is either through merit-based or through entrance exam. The college is under the University of Calicut and the admission process is carried out through the Admission Process of the University of Calicut. The application has to be submitted by the candidate online. The university prepares the index mark list and allots the seats. Students who get allotment in Sree Narayana College have to attend the interview on the date specified by the university. All the candidates selected have to go through the interview conducted by the college.

Undergraduate Courses:

The candidates have to follow these steps:

• The students have to submit online applications to various colleges and programs/courses.
• The online allotment process provides an opportunity to obtain admission to any of the affiliated colleges/centers and those programs/courses of the choice of the students based on merit.
• The students can choose from the affiliated colleges/centers and the online allotment of seats also helps in choosing programs/courses based on merit.
• The candidate has to submit the application on the site and also have to pay for the application form. Candidates of the General category must pay Rs 280/- and SC/ST candidates must pay Rs 115/-

Postgraduate courses:

• Admission to the PG courses is based on merit only. But in some courses, the candidate has to give the entrance examination conducted by the University.
• For Non-English candidates applying for M A English, admission will be based on the Entrance Test.
•  The candidates who studied BA Degree in Thullal, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, and Koodiyattam are eligible for admission to M A Sanskrit through Entrance Test.
• The University will conduct the entrance examination for such candidates.
• Applicants have to apply online and register for the entrance exam. 
• If selected they will be contacted for the interview.

For both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, If the application is favorably considered, an intimation card message assigning a date for an interview with the Principal will be sent to the applicant. All the selections are provisional and will be confirmed after the interview with the Principal.
