Physics is always a gowing subject and its scope never dies .Doing bachelors in physics opens foor for varios opportunities in private and government sectors. The curriculum is updated along with the current improvements in the world of science. All currently used applications are taught in the curriculum. The textbooks are a bit of casual language .It should be more formal Exams like internal exams ,semester exams are held in every 3-4 months. They are easy and can be easily cracked by covering the given syllabus.

Internship opportunities are provided in the library. But stipend is not given . Every science department has well knowledgeable professors that are very good in in their subjects . Students from various collge come to avail projects.

Students of Final year are eligible for placement Varios companies like icici prudential , Accenture ,various schools etc and naly companies collaborate for placements in our college.average package is 2 lakh per annum

The year wise fees varied along 3 years . Fees amount is given below in Rupees First year :-6850 Second year :-4790 Third year :-7235 Tution fee for three years is 1170 Rupees Scholarships are available for students belonging to economically backward societies. E Grants scholarship mostly availed by most of the college . Students belonging to fishermen societies are also aviled of Scholarships.

Department inter collegiate fest are conducted. College day is conducted during starting of the year. Fine arts fest is conducted furing November Our library is the best in Thrissur. Vimala college is also the best womens college in sports under calicut university

Rooms are fully furnished rooms .Hostels are affordable. 5500 rupees per month.Students can also avail scholarships in hostels too. Students those who want to avail hostel facility should contact college office officials.

I applied to colleges like MCC,Chennai ;Colleges under Kannur University, Kerala University etc. I selected this college as this is a women's college at first .Eventhough its an all girls institution, the exposure we get here is limitless . Here they foster self love and leadership qualities in every women . We become so free in communicating various taboo subjects . Once we leave this college after the course we are equipped with all life lessons sd qualities that we need in our lives. I Got rejections from colleges under Kannur university,I think its due to the board that I studied because, the universities considers government school students first and then privately owned CBSE school students next . My college is Autonomous and it has its own admission procedures . It requires the marks of our 12th and 10th classes .And other details whether we were part of any kind of organizations like NCC,NSS,RED CROSS ,SCOUTS AND GUIDES. There are no exams as this is a govt aided college and its purely based on our marls of 10th and 12th.

There are almost 15 facualties in all major departments .Complementary courses of various major courses and the teachers will be less .That is for example for hindi department that is a Complementary course there are only 3 faculties. There are enough faculty support in college . Teachers are very supportive . I like Dr.Regina of Physics department, she is a very gentle and knowledgeable person ,has great teaching skills. Next is Dr.Malini.K.A our vice principal she had great leadership qualities and great tecahing skills. There is no faculty I dislike in the college. Regular class tests after each module is taken . Internal exams and Semester exams are conducted every semester without fail and with great teamwork.

Gym facilities are avilable in college . Canteen facility is also very good snacks and varios main course foods are available . Hostels have crfew upto 7pm Locality is very safe around in this area. College have fitness gardens were we can hamg out
