- The placement training. we have a cource called CIR from the first sem onwards were we will be trained for our future placements.
- Good and interactive teaching. Most of the teachers are very well equipped in their subjects.
- Focused on traditional and indian culture. the authorities give importance to indian culture in every programes they organize.
Dislikes
- There are only very less fun programes. that is the main problem every student feels. Does not have any celebrations or energetic programes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriclum is pretty much good. everything we need to know about the corce is included for our curriculum. some additional subjects which doesnt relate to our cources are there but they are meant for our personal development. the only suggestion is to bring more lab facilities for the core subject fintech.
Internships Opportunities
I am not so aware of the details of the intership as am a first year student. but am sure that they provide pretty good interships with a decent stipend. there are many scholars who come daily and do their works.
Placement Experience
The placement run starts from the second last semister onwards that is the final year. almost 90% of the students get placed in good companies. many students opt for higher studies. even if we didnt get placement we will be able apply for the job and admissions easily as there is a globall cirtificate value for amrita institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall tuiton fee for my course is 47900 per semister. If you want to avail for hostel the fees per semister would be 39,550. 3000 is the caution deposit. if you want bus service certain fees will applied there also according to your destination. In the first semister They provide 50 % scholarship for students who scored above 95% in 12th boards and 40% scholarship for students who scored 90% above. the next semister onwarda the scholarship will apply only if you score the above mentioned percentage for the university semister exams. For some other cources like visual media the same tution fees is applied.
Campus Life
The campus life is not so exciting as we doesnt have any programmes. the college is str icter comparng to other collages. The library is well equiped with almost all the books we need and we can avil them whenever we need. Sports facilities is provided but for that we have to go to the other campus. no other extra curriculars is provided. we have different clubs and club organised programmes are also there. About the infrastructure i think they could improve their classrooms and toilets. rest every facilities are good.
Admission
This was the only college i applied for and the main reason is their placement. also fintech was only available in this college near in kerala. comparing to other colleges cultural wise we doesnt have much programmes or celebration. but education wise it is standing out. For my cource only an online interview was there as admission process. we had to upload all our documents in a website provided by the instituition.
Faculty
Most of the faculties here are friendly and compatible with the students. only a few are very stricter. we have 2 exams per year, a mid term exam out 50 marks and end semister exam out of 100 marks. The question paper has average level difficulty which is okay.
Night Life
Am not sure about the nightlife as am a dayscholar. the regular college timing is 9 am to 4.30 pm. hostelers also have a time restriction in going outside and each time they have to get the permission from HOD ,class coordinator and warden to go out. each and every time they will have to do this. the college is located in the main city edappally where we have easy acces to lulu mall and metro station. there are pretty good hangout sapces also. about the safety its also mpretty good. we have a temple inside the campus premise where outsider can also visit.
