M.Sc Nursing seats are limited to 4 per specialisation (16 total), making PG admissions selective. Child Health Nursing carries a higher fee (INR 3,20,000) compared to the other three M.Sc specialisations (INR 2,60,000 each).

Al Shifa College of Nursing Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing

B.Sc Nursing admission is centralised through the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, using the Single Window Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). No separate entrance test is held for B.Sc Nursing in Kerala.

  • 10+2 (HSE, CBSE, or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects
  • Minimum 45% aggregate in PCB for general category candidates (minimum 40% for SC/ST)

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (P.B.B.Sc)

This lateral-entry programme is open to registered nurses with a GNM diploma. Admission follows the same LBS Centre CAP system as B.Sc Nursing.
