Remarks

Amrita Entrance exam should be attended by all the candidates. 50% in science in 12th grade and should be eligible in the amrita entrance exam for allied health sciences. The admission process is a bit long. very good atmosphere and better value for certificate.

the subjects in this course are very interesting rather than the commonly seen curriculum. it is more of a social service kind of area. an adequate number of faculty members for better training. most of the faculties are MSc or Ph.D. holders with good experience. I was having yearly syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

the internship doesn't come with a stipend as we have 5 months in amrita and 5 months outside like NIMHANS, MAPS, etc. we will get thorough hand on experience during the internship period. practical knowledge will be provided by all the staff.

Fees and Financial Aid

now the fee range is some higher than in 2016. 1,20000 was the tuition fee and 55000 was the hostel fee per year. BASLP students won't get a stipend during the internship as they do it for 5 months in Amrita and 5 months in outside places education loans can be availed from any of the banks using fee structure.

Campus Life

they conduct arts and sports fest and some other festivals also there is well maintained new library with plenty of books in classrooms as well as clinics have enough amenities for students like water, washroom facilities, smart classes, etc. so many kinds of extracurricular activities are there including conferences

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has a very good curriculum. It teaches all the subjects and areas we want to know and learn. Also , there are references put for each topic, so it's easy to learn. Also there are plenty of sites that we can collect information apart from these references.The curriculum prepares us very well in both theoretical and clinical aspects by providing sufficient information and experience option. The final year is the game changer .The current exam time and frequency is very good and acceptable.

Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is a professional course which makes students capable of providing rehabilitation services to individuals with communication difficulties and hearing impairment. The faculty at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing is excellent. The institute has a faculty-student ratio of about 1:4. All of the faculties are well qualified in the field with either master's in audiology and speech-language pathology or a PhD in the core area. The exams are conducted by the University of Health Sciences on a semester basis and the difficulty level of the exams will be hard.
