A life chapter

The course has a very good curriculum. It teaches all the subjects and areas we want to know and learn. Also , there are references put for each topic, so it's easy to learn. Also there are plenty of sites that we can collect information apart from these references.The curriculum prepares us very well in both theoretical and clinical aspects by providing sufficient information and experience option. The final year is the game changer .The current exam time and frequency is very good and acceptable.

Our curriculum offers a 10 month internship , both internal and external . That's very informative and experience for us. We have conferences and projects as well . Since we have internship in different set ups like clinics , hospitals , school the experience is highly useful.

Our yearly course fee is like 100000. In first year we have to pay like 150,000 including other charges. This is the fee structure for merit students . For Management students extra amount has to pay, same gose for NRI too. Total around 5 to 6 lakh is needed.

The campus life is not good on our college. But we have good clinical set ups which is highly appreciable. There is no club involvement or other things , so we got little opportunity to socialize . But the college has very good celebration of onam , Christmas, Ramzan, also arts ,holi etc. The library has plenty of books anc journals ,also newspapers , online access etc. Every classroom has projector . The student unions are also very active.

I choose this college , because there is only limited colleges in Kerala offering this course , also this college is not so far from my house so I can be a day scholar . And from my relative who completed the same course from the same college I got a positive review too. I applied in 2 colleges only . I got seat in other college , but I joined here in management quota. The admission in our college is via LBS.

There are 6 to 7 faculties in each semester for each batch , which has around 30 students. For each subject and clinical posting ,there is enough faculty to lead and help us. Most of them are highly approachable too. I have some personal favourite teachers , I like them because , they appreciate our hard works , also make us feel like we did something big. They are very supportive and friendly. So that we can share our ideas also clear our doubts. For some I don't like , because , they have their own favourites and they only appreciate their works . For each semester there is University exam , and in each semester there are another 2 internal exams . Viva is also there in each semester. The exams are pretty tough , so the evaluation. In each semester 4 to 5 students fail. The course curriculum is highly relevant and precise.

The college locality is not in fun place, so there is no night life around the campus. The hostel has timings , and the warden is strict. But I'm a day scholar . Since the college I slocated on Kozhikode , there are many places to visit nearby.
