Entertainments provided in the campus is quite good, provides relaxation in this stressfull period
Faculty members are very good behaviour and experienced .they are intract with students very well.so easily teach portions.also doing works and assignments easily because of the way of study.very good work and sincere members.
The course fee is25380 per year .there is many scholarship available for financial support like mcm e grand .

Dislikes

I dont like some teachers who always come to scrollevery one and bad at teaching
We are staying at the oldest hostel here.the facilities provided are very poor and talking about food it is okayish.we are staying 6 members in a room with limited facilities to stdy and all.
All trees in the campus were cut ,that is cause very much trouble

Government Medical College Kollam:What to expect

Likes

The infrastructure is pretty good, there's a lot of place to study
The library has centralized air conditioning which is good considering the climate
As there's less number of students than other colleges there will be lot of attention for you

Dislikes

All though there's lot of space most of it can't be used
There's less number of patients than students,so it will be easier to study but can effect your clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course nowadays is competency based so it focuses more on developing clinical skills. The course also includes Attitude Ethics and Communication classes which can be applied in real life scenarios

The college have 24/7 reading room to study and have many places in campus were we can have a good time
The college is very affordable with its minimum fees
The college has one of the very best faculties

Dislikes

The college have a small sports ground, so it is very hard.
The course has a hectic schedule, so we lack time to relax
The college and hospital is always crowded.

The course curriculum is vast, we have to learn basically 3 subjects in first year anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. And from second year onwards we are exposed clinical studies. We have to attend practical lab sections in the first year

Freedom is more common in our college then that of other pharmacy colleges
Teachers of friendly do an extent but still they allow us to do our thing in our free space
Also the anti ragging is effective and not just by the initiative of the teachers but also from the seniors and also they are born they are friendly to an extent

Dislikes

Sometimes don't teachers judge by your marks sometimes demotivated remote waiting yes
Also college is in Alappuzha so the rain flood types are more common
Also freedom in programs like not inside the college outside the college going and with sports is LED lavik

As u know it's a PhD course pharm D so its its tough and also the syllabus is not revised and also it it follows in 2016 k u h s syllabus hands most of the topics we are studying is not revised and it is mostly updated but it is good and also practice in the lordous hospital and also beam like sure to make up for this syllabus

The all the staffs in the college is very friendly and helpful
The campus is small but peace full its liked me
The library and the canteen liked atmost

Dislikes

The programmes was very rare its disappointed me
The time allocation for the interval was small
The attitude of some lab assistants i hated it

The course have 4 YEAR duration and is allocated in the semester system there is 8 Semester.the course have an wide scope of the opportunity so i choosed it. The frequency of the exams are in month wise each 6 month we have an semester exam

The faculties and seniors are super helpful
The campus and hostel is completely ragging free
Hostel facilities are the best in most of the colleges in kerala

Dislikes

The campus is small not widespread like other campuses
The whole campus is around 25 acres while other colleges are 250
The college have minimum space for a space to chill

The course is noble course We can help the society But as I said the course is a big burden I think the 5 and a half years course can increase upto 7 years You can do research works if you're interested

The main advantage is that we have a greater exposure to clinical settings.
Faculty are highly educated and well experienced
Hospital environment is good for working

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is not good and developed
Noise pollution is a common problem in hospital
Labs are not modified and equipments are insufficient

Bsc nursing as a wide range of scope that is why I chose this course. Our curriculum is a best thing we can opt for . It prepared us for working smartly and with lots of creativity that is necessary for nursing job

The hospital review

Very freindly and cooperative teachers and faculties
Very nice library for refering books and other journals.
clinical practicals are very nice and useful.

Dislikes

Very strict and punctual rules for both genders.

Placement Experience:

After 4 year of nursing course, there will be high placement for students studying in the college. My plan is to do msc in nursing after graduating the bsc course successfully. After that i wish to teach in a college.

Overall view about manjeri medical college

Likes

The academics here is good and the atmosphere is very suitable for learning medicine. There is ample amount of cadavers for dissection and also well qualified teachers
The place is easily accessible it is situated in the town itself and filled with good people around
The hostel facility here is very good and with very good infrastructure and new buildings

Dislikes

The college is small and has only few blocks and lecture halls
The academic pressure in the college is little high
There are no proper recreational activites and spots in the college

The teaching staffs are very comfortable and highly qualified
We will have a great knowledge in practical sessions
The college is accredited with NAAC A grade

The entertainment programs are less as compared to other colleges
The year back criteria is really stressful
College ground is not very good like when there is rain grasses grow

This is a medical college which emphazizes on studies more than any other medical college in kerala
The faculties are well educated and have the skills to teach students. The GMCM is provided with the best faculty
No ragging at all. All the seniors are so friendly it seems like there is no junior senior difference in this college

Dislikes

Campus area is less compared to other colleges
The programs conducted are still cuz this is an educationally emphasised institution
The college needs a better infrastructure and the clinics needs more improvement

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams
