Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course nowadays is competency based so it focuses more on developing clinical skills. The course also includes Attitude Ethics and Communication classes which can be applied in real life scenarios

Internships Opportunities

2

You are able to do a 1 and ½ years of mandatory internship by the course curriculum. Also after this we can always apply to become a junior resident at the hospital. I think there is interviews for selection

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for an year is 23150 for every student. Then we have to pay 1740 as van fee and 1740 as miscellaneous fee. All this should be paid every year. As for exam fee it depends on the year and how many papers u have to write

Campus Life

3

There are not a lot of activities but there's some amount of activities that you can enjoy. The library has all kinds of medical textbooks, researchs and magazines available . All aspects of cultural programmes are covered and sports activities are encouraged

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel and mess food are student body run. There are 4 people in one room and common washrooms in each floor. Washing machine is available. House for rent are easily available (one of my friend stays in a rented house)

Admission

You need to write NEET and register for both all india and keam to get a seat in any medical college in Kerala. The cut-offs and score for neet changes every year. I couldn't make it to other colleges because I didn't do that well for neet but I had enough marks for a government college

Faculty

5

There's a shortage in faculties, but there is a good faculty to student relationship. There's a total of 19 subjects so first year you have 3 subjects to clear, same for second year,2 subject for 3rd year and 11 subjects for final year

Night Life

3

So for first years there's a curfew of 6 pm for 6 months then it's upto 12 for everyone else. The hostel areas are closed off to public to some extent but since they are on hospital grounds public can be seen.

Admission:

So, in order to get admitted, one needs to be either 17 or more in age. It holds some general basic necessities that all colleges demand like (10+2) cbse or equivalent exam degree. And you need to score more than 50% aggregate in PCB / Biotech combined. For admission in UG courses, candidates can apply through their NEET UG medical scorecard. Aspirants need to clear the stated cutoff percentile in order to qualify. Candidates can check the expected cutoff percentile in the year of examination in order to prepare accordingly for their respective categories( general, SC/ST, OBC). A candidate can visit the official portal of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala to get themselves registered for NEET 2020 Kerala State Counselling. Counselling of NEET 2020 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps. 1. Registering to the official website. 2. You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal. 3. The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices. 4. Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities. 5. The best part of the college is of sufficient patients for clinics.in many colleges there is less no of patients. Extra curricular activities are conducted by the union of the college these are great. The negative remark of college is the students should enter the hostel before 8.30 pm. That is the only negative remark.

Our college is best college. All things is best including faculty, academy building, staff both teaching and non teaching. Good hostel building with facilities are good. One of the negative thing is we don't have our own hospital building to practice so we have to district hospital for that. But the good news is iu5 hospital building is under Constitution. It will ready by December 2019.
