Dislikes
- Duty time is more compared to other allied health colleges
- Sunday duty is also something I didn't like
- There is no time for our batchmates to spend together like even in holidays we all won't get leaves only half among us will get a leave rest half the next holiday
Course Curriculum Overview
First year Curriculum is comparitively vast and difficult to learn but it is also we need to learm as an ICT . Second year is also more to do with diseases and medications While 3rd year focuses completely on Applied Aspects and Basics of ICT
Placement Experience
Normally we are having high placement rates in Amrita itself . But it will be based on our academic and practical skills. Other hospitals are also coming to our hospitals for conducting interviews and we are also placed likewise in many large hospitals
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee:1,40,000 every year upto 3 yr Internship is free Mess and hostel fee :68000every yr Other fees:39,450 1st yr , 19,000 2nd yr and 3rd year For merit students there will be only a decrease of 30000 in tution fees rest will be same
Campus Life
We are having campus life completely only in first year Rest 3 yrs we are having postings daily thus we are not having much campus life . But still there's a lot culturals and celebrations like arts fest, sports fest , onam, christhmas, specific department functions and so on But everything is limited because it is a hospital environment
Hostel Facilities
There are many hostels in Amrita. The important factor is that every hostel is located in the campus itself . And one room comprises of 3 students ,3 beds,3 study tables and also 3 shelf is provided by them Food is also ok ok .We can have it thats it but not an excellent tasty food
Admission
Amrita is different .And it itself has a standard and accreditations So while I get out of this college holding my passed certificates it will be valued than any other . Admission procedures start from the entrance exam which is conducted by Amrita and the ranking of the results of the same and then directly if we are selected we'll be called to college for the further procedures
Faculty
The faculties are the best we can have Doctors are directly coming and teaching us Subjects include First year : anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, English, Softskills,computer Second year ; pharmacology, pathology,applied and basics of ICT Third yr ; Applied and basics of ICT 4rth year is Internship along with we are provided opportunities and trained for BLS and ACLS certificates
Night Life
We are having gyms, cafeterias ,libraries,garden in our college. The are open from early morning till night There specific incharge people or trainers in those respective areas. Students are allowed to enter and use these with their ID card
