I liked the infrastructure of our college...also all classrooms are well maintained with AC
The engagement of campus life with social life is very engaging and we enjoy the campus life
Laboratory and teaching staffs are all supportive in their respective fields

Dislikes

Some teachers have to be minimum qualified with their behaviour
Placement support in our department is very bad

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum was the best as I was able to achieve ugc net in forensic science even before completing the course I think this is my field after choosing this course Teaching methods are not that satisfactory but yes if you have a mind we can follow our dream

Class Size: 16Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 21000 per sum ...that is 42000 per year including the tution fee, lab and exam fees..same fee structure is applicable to my batchmates also...some of us who is having annual income of less than 1 lakh are eligible for egrantz scholarship. We completed the study in 2024 may...so more likely we are about to receive 80 percent of the payment made to the college via this scholarship

Campus Life

Overall campus life was the best..we had different activities by different clubs....all extra curricular activities provided support and grades Sargam was the best event that happened in cusat which is the students arts fest

Admission

The campus life cusat offers is the best Being a graduate in chemistry the infrastructure and campus influenced me in choosing master's in forensic science This was the first college I got admission after applying in different universities After getting this I got in other universities like MG, Kerala and all but I rejected because CUSAT is the best

Faculty

We have only one batch for an yr intake of 16 students Some faculties are so friendly but some are not Our main sir binshad sir is very friendly and supportive..also teaches in his maximum potential and very much student supportive Other faculties are actually contract based so not that much supportive

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).

All u need to know about Cochin university

I have not applied for any other colleges in kerala as i consider Cochin univeristy a bit efficient than KTU also the location is a prime factor, as companies rely on location, airport is close to my campus, the railway station as well, transportaion is easy here .
