The best part is the faculty.They are really approachable. They are one of the best available in kerala.
The infrastructure is well maintained with well equipped labs

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is job oriented.It has all of opportunities in our country. It not only focuses on the syllabus but also focus on the overall development of the students. They never stress students. They do understand and have a flexible curriculum

Class Size: 19Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 150000 including caution deposit and activity fees. Total fees for Msc Applied Psychology is 300000. Activity fees is 5000. Exams fees are separate and it's not included in the fees mentioned above

Campus Life

They almost celebrate all the festivals. They had a grand onam celebrations. The library is fully air-conditioned and also equipped with many computer. The library has wife variety of academic books. They have sports club drama club yoga sports every possible thing that you need

Admission

The choose this college because it offered the course I preferred for and also they had one of the best faculty in kerala. I was not rejected from any other colleges. The college integrated with IKS that attracted me a lot They have a registration procedure in the website and also followed by entrance exam and interview

Faculty

Considering the exams you have 2 internals exams and one semester exam for each semester. Ramesh pattani is one of the best faculty.4:1 students to faculity ratio. It's easy to clear of you study properly. The cutoff is 50%

Night Life

The favourite hangout spot is the Subash park. It's safe to roam till 8.30 The place is very safe it has metro facility in about 500m. Campus timing are from 9.00am to 4pm Hostel are in about 1km from the campus.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

Dislikes

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

Unforgettable Memories

Likes

Good atmosphere and good building. Play ground is very big.
Students are very respective. We are going to study tours.
Visit students houses. Participating in our classmates marriage function.

Dislikes

College is so far from bus stop. In a strange area
No canteen in the college compound. Water availability isbless
So many steps to reach in my classroom. Auto availability is less

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is beneficial to those students are need more knowledge. Curriculum is relevent to higher education and other competitive exams. It is back bone of all students those study well. Nice course

Admission:

Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.

Positive Remarks: 1) Good placement opportunities 2) Gives plenty of internship opportunities 3) Good faculties 4) Gives updated courses 5) Helps to learn new things Negative Remarks : 1) Faculties uses their juniors to complete portions before exams

Actually the programme I took is B.A.B.Ed English which is actually offered in two universities in kerala one is calicut university and the other one is Chinmaya vishwa vidyapeeth university the calicut university required an entrance exam which had finished when I got to know about it and the other choice was Chinmaya vishwa vidyapeeth university which didn't require any entrance exam and also it is a deemed University which NAAC accreditation so I thought a deemed University would be a different experience...Read More

My Experience at the university

Before joining in Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university, I have applied for woxsen university , hyderabad. The woxsen university is more of pose and on going culture, and the fee was also very very high for the course I opted. The placements were also very low. I choose Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university because of their rich culture, holistic development, spiritual growth, and when it comes to the fee , the fee structure is also very decent.
