Remarks

The best thing I found there is a Cisco Thingqbator (Maker space) where we can build IoT devices and more.Cisco is doing this project with partnershiping with Nasscom and Defy.Li2 conduct lot of workshops under Thingqbator about IoT and machine learning and lot of things.Even they mantor students to build their idea which is submitted under cohort programs hosted by them and provide all fecilities and equipments. This is the only one thing that I kike in this Institute. It is well maintained by Cisco not by our administration. That may be the reason it is well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course and curriculum is better for research and development. There are somany on going here in our Institute.Students get chance to interact with these works. But the thing is that the internet fecility and Administrators are very poor performance. There is life in this Institute. The library will close at 8pm.If we want to stay back in labs requires special permission from registrar or Director. The biggest fun is our Director is a part time jober. He will not be available most of the time. There is no maintenance in any field. The Institute will not give priority to the primary stidents. But give more priority to other programs conducted under govt.Because of this students lost lot of lab hours and lectures.

Placement Experience

2.5

The MNC companies like TCS, INFOSYS, EY and Tata Elxi recruite most of them with basic pay like 3.5 LPA.This year federal bank took a student with 8 LPA.The only good thing about the Institute is that it is situated inside the Technopark campus.Students can find internship and jobs easily but with less stipend or without. After spending 1 or 2 years in such companies people are getting very huge offers from other companies. If we compare our Institute with similar Institutes it is not worthy to do internship and jobs for very less packages.even students are struggling to pay bank loans with their salary.

College Events

0.5

Arts day and Sports day are celebrated to loot money for officials.there is no stidents body or no more place to raise our concerns. If we raise our concerns the administration does not take any actions.last year we students and officials were hospitalized due to food poision. The unpurified drinking water supplied inside our Institute caused this disaster. After that they put a very poor water purifier still it is running without any regular maintenance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive and they are not even meeting the basic expectations like class room for each specialisation and labs as well.Even library works from 8 am to 8 pm.There is no Students body or no more place to raise our concerns. If we raise our concerns the administration does not take any actions.last year we students and officials were hospitalized due to food poision. The unpurified drinking water supplied inside our Institute caused this disaster. After that they put a very poor water purifier still it is running without any regular maintenance.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarships for this courses.Even no stipend. The labs are out dated and even there is no much class rooms for each specialised course students. The authirity is faking stidents of last five years telling that we will move to another building with international standard but it is not fulfilled yet.Still they are taking a huge amount of fee which is nowhere in Kerala.

Campus Life

0.5

They are not promoting any kind of extracurricular activities.Arts day and Sports day are celebrated to loot money for officials.there is no stidents body or no more place to raise our concerns. If we raise our concerns the administration does not take any actions.last year we students and officials were hospitalized due to food poision. The unpurified drinking water supplied inside our Institute caused this disaster. After that they put a very poor water purifier still it is running without any regular maintenance.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no own building for hostel. The hostel facilities are closed after looting a huge amount from students.it was 9000 rupees per month for a student with food.same time there are very good Paying Guest facilities are available nearby for half of the hostel fee. That to well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

There are lot of alumni people are working in defferent companies.but gere is no track records in our Institute about it.we get information about our alumni people from linkedin. They helps us with reference and vacancy details. They helped as to get internship easily this year.

Admission

They selected me through a entrance exam which is conducted in march. After getting a good rank in this will be called by Administration for interview. After that we can choose the specialised program with our interest. There are 30 seats for MI, DA and GA. There are 40 seats for Cyber security program. The availability of seats also depends the chances of getting seats in your dream program.

Faculty

1

Our main faculties are totally busy with their research works so that most of the subjects are taken by research fellows.Thay are not able to meet our expectations as we are paying a huge amount as fee.Self learning is the only way to learn things and doing research. It is even difficult to reach out to some professors to clear doubt most of the time they are engaged with other work so will not available in the Institute.Well qualified faculties are there but because of the unavailability there is no use.

Practical Applications like practical session, intership or industrial collaboration that gives hands on experience influence me to choose this course (biotechnology). Core subjects like genetics , molecular biology, genetic engineering, microbiology etc.. and connection with field like bioinformatics, bioprocessing etc .. prepare me for further academic pursuits. For practical session teaching method requires improvement. The frequency and timing of exam is a difficult level .

Our batch was in Covid lag batch. So the course curriculum was highly rushed. We weren't able to cover aspects which would have real world applications. The last semester research project was fine but still more hands on experience and more research oriented approach could've been taken .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is overall average. the vcurriculum is not up-to-date, and the changes in technology or the new innovations and updations in technology are not introduced in the curriculum. also the inconsistency in conducting exams is also a problem; the university is to blame for that; there is no fixed time period or a timetable for the examinations conducted by the university. and also the dirty politics going on in the university is also to blame for this.
