I like maths very much. So statistics is a branch of mathematics and I take Statistics as my carrier. Then the important reason is to become a Maharajain. All of us know about Maharajas College. Its famous campus is in Kerala and over India. The faculties are very Educated and they are very helpful. Also, exams are conducted up to date.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and internship are provided by the college. The students who completed the degree or post-graduation in this college are able to get a bright future. So many companies are provided campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a government-autonomous college. So there is no fee structure. But getting an admission is very tough. The college is very powerful in arts. In maharaja's it's very famous for cultural activities and politics

There is no entrance exam. But there is a criterion for the admission procedure. It's based on degree marks. The application for Postgraduate in Maharaja's College is different from that of other colleges. It is an autonomous college. So there is a unique college site to apply to and the admission procedure. Admission is only online. There are some reservation categories

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

The best college for study

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
