- St. josephs college devagiri is a high repluted college in kerala that mainly focuses on the quality of education that a student can gain during the academic period of time.
- The college has a very good environment friendly campus . The students can interact and socialize during break times. And also , the faculties here are very friendly to the students and they are highly qualified.
Dislikes
- I dont like the over strictness of the college .
- There is no consideration given to the students who dont acquire the minimum attendance percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this Msc Computer Science because I need a post graduation in my same course as my bachelors. Devagiri college offers many facilities for the computer science students. Certifications in relevant programming languages are being given to student. During my Post graduation period, i will be given 2 certificates related to this computer field. Many expo and many programs are being conducted to brighten each students and ti expose their potential, and the college supports the students who has potential. And also, Many companies gave us classes on how the course has relevance in the job market and all.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Msc computer science has a tution fee of Rs.160000 for two years and this is totally fine for this much established course. by each semester exam fees needs to be paid . The exam fee will be less than 1000. The campus offers campus placement for the respective students and high packages are also offered for the students. Those students who belong to lower category will has only less fee and they have concessions.
Campus Life :
Devagiri College offers many things to the students for enjoyment and nourishment. NIRVANA is the biggest fest conducted each year by the Buisiness Management Department. Each departments has their own fests and all. Excluding these, Devagiri college conducts fine arts day, College Day and other special days. Celebrations like christmas and onam are held highly and elections are held here. Most of the sports has been conducted here and the facilities are available including a huge ground and basket ball area, cricket area and so on. Health awareness classes are also given to the students who live in this society. As a computer science student, Our great fest is ENVI which is a national level tech fest conducted each year including students from all colleges.
Admission :
For Msc Computer science, one student must finish a bachelors in Computer science or equivalent course that includes a computer science subject and a Mathematics paper as complementary. The admission process is very strictly evaluated as a huge number of applicants will be there. Application for the admission procedures are avalibale online from the site www.devagiricollege.org and further notifications will be announced there. The exams will be conducted as per the academic calendar and it should'nt be same time as the Calicut university exams.
Faculty :
When it comes to tha faculties, the faculties here are much qualified and has potential to teach each one of the student. There is no lack of faculties in each department. Each of the faculties are advised to make the students teach properly and to utilise the facilities that are provided for the students. Internal examinations and other evaluations are being done to evaluate student and to give them the correct mark they belongs. Also the faculties here are being paid a high salary and the faculties here are respectfully correct for the status of Devagiri college.
