Hi I am a bsc maths first year student of Brennan college. I came to Brennan because of my great desire to do my graduate studies in Brennan college. I came to Brennan college after taking BSc Mathematics course. I got admission here with plus two qualification. I knew Kannur University admission start through newspaper and depended on Akshaya Kendra to give application and then pay fee easily. I got necessary reservations as I belonged to ST category. The fee amount was also reasonable. ? got into the college in the first allotment because me belonged to the ST category and had good marks in Plus Two. I got admission in the college without much difficulty due to the timely intervention of the SFI union workers and college teachers. When we got down in front of the college gate, the sFI admission help desk was there to receive us. Union members helped when also needed a copy of the certificate. Admission was based on the grades obtained in higher secondary examinations and also based on the reservation criteria. As it is a government college no other options was available for admission to any course. Application forms had to be collected from the college and filled and submitted there. Eligibility for Msc Botany course is complete BSc Botany with 55% or above. We can apply online through the Kannur University allotment website. We get full details about this course. The application fee is 1000 rupees for the general category and 500 for SC/ST/PWD Categories. Government brennen college is beautiful college under kannur university. The campus have many things to visit like "brennen ooty","water tank" etc. There is a big ground for the college and we can practice sports. Brennen has a big auditorium and a mini-auditorium. The library is central library and we can have 5 books for 2 weeks and we can renew the books through the college library app. More over, teachers are friendly and they all are the best teachers we can get. I have heard many good things about the college from my higher secondary teachers and they suggested me to join brennen college. After joining I felt that brennen is the best college I have seen. It is an eco friendly college. One thing I think bad about the college is about "brennen ootty'when I came to the college brennen ootty has many trees and when we go there ootty gives a cold breez for self relief. But now the trees have been cutted for college new hostel. But college says that they will plant trees and give back ootty for us. Then it will be wonderful....Read More
