Course Curriculum Overview :

Our MSc in Food Technology and Quality Assurance curriculum ensures comprehensive understanding and application in food science, safety, and quality control. It is very flexible and easy to study having oppertunity to learn new things.

Class Size : 1000Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Unibiosys , ernakulam provides frequent internship Cftri,Mysore also associated with the college and good for interships There are so many other interships and workshops Project in final year in renowned institutes across india.

Placement Experience :

From second semester onwards all students are eligible for placements from good companies like Nestle, Britannia and other companies Highest package is 400000 per annum Lowest package is 200000 per annum

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College fees is 45000 per semester and 90000 per year . scholarships are Available and are easily accessible Campus employment is also there in form of library duty provides a stable income for hostelers.

Campus Life :

Good campus life but is little strict , good atmosphere for friendly talks and all A great collection of books and a very large library The sports are little less no football,no cricket ,and no ground is provided

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good and hostel facilities provide a comfortable and secure environment for students, fostering a conducive atmosphere for learning and personal growth hostel fees is 5500 per month Food is also good

Hostel Fee : INR 66000 per year

Admission :

Application process by two means by management and by mg University By management direct contact with college and make necessary actions , submit documents and all By mg University Kottayam, entrance exam is there and should have pass mark to become eligible for course and can also apply for cap test mg

Faculty :

Faculty are good , well educated , most of them are very supportive and friendly.they help us finish portions that are hard and helps us with assignments,and have good practical knowledge, they also encourage in extra curricular activities and programs.

One of the best institution in kerala.

Placement Experience:

There are departments with placements and university has got a placement cell. There are also various career guidance classes, Innovation and entrepreneurship development centre(IEDC) to support students. But my course is more of a research oriented and as such I can apply for phd opportunities myself. The faculties will help in getting internships, recommendations and journal publications as long as long as we are interested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the course, as it is a pg course the main thing is the effort we put in this subject. The teachers has a limit and it is always the effort we put from our side to complete the course. Frankly speaking, the course is a tough one. Syllabus is so long that many things are there to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is to be updated. The university provides a weak syllabus and the system of conducting examinations are outdated. Exams are not in time and the results are delayed. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.
