Course Curriculum Overview
Our college has adopted the methodology for following the course curriculum and syllabus as directed by the university for each of the program. Subjects are divided into semesters based on their category like core subjects and optional elective ones. Examinations are held twice in a year and are called as the end semester examination. Evaluations and assignments are conducted regularly.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are not up to the mark as rarley any good campus drive is conducted. Most of the students rely on their own efforts and networks to get a good job offer. Similar is the thing when we talk about the internships.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of the college is to be paid annually at the start of each academic year and once at the time of taking admission. The annual academic fee is somewhere around Rs 25,000 and includes all the expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are offered from the side of state government as well as from the side of the central government. Scholarship are generally offered to meritorious students, students from reserved category, students from minority category etc. Educational loans India wale student at personal level with the help of the Vidyalakshmi portal which is run by government.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are quite limited as far as our college is concered and mostly we engage in playing outdoor games like football, cricket etc. Events like the Annual fest, Pongal, Republic Day, Independence Day etc are celebrated by the college. On infrastructure page the college has all the necessary required things to offer including the smart classes, libraries and seminar halls.
Admission
Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.
Faculty
Our professors are experienced in their respective disciplines and have attend P.hD level of knowledge. Mathematics with numbers and theorems they make sure that things are not going in a theoretical or rote learning mode.
