Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV), Kochi offers B.Com, B.Sc, BA and BBA at the UG level. MA and M.Sc at PG level. The college also offers integrated courses of BA+B.ED and B.Sc+B.Ed. PhD program in various disciplines is offered. Admission to the PhD programs are in two stages; firstly candidate is required to clear Ph.D. Admissions Test (PAT), candidates who have cleared PAT are called for an interview where they have to present their research proposals. Eligibility: Students who have completed their Class 12th from Chinmaya Vidyalaya or Bhavan’s Schools.
Minimum Academic Requirement: 75% or above in Class 12th.
Discount Offered: 10% of the tuition fee for the 1st year only.

The faculties I have are really good they don't just teach butvthey also listen to us ready to help us however they can
Personally I like the mess food they serve thereas there are a alot of students from outside Kerala too so there is always Verity

Dislikes

They haven't provided us any facilities that they promised us the onakoor building is no even finished yet
It is a purpose veg college which might be a big meh for a lot of people
It is very strict you don't feel like you are in college there is no aspect that would make me call this a college except the sudden announcements of exams there is no college life don't expect any fests or freshers or anything like that here

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Our teachers said that our curriculum is okay for us and is a revised and is not too hard but personally if you don't have a psychology or biology background you are going to face difficulties but once you get the hang of it it will be fine . But they don't give us enough time to prepare for exams and complete portions in a rush

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

I don't have much idea about that but they do provide internship opportunities and have a internship cell students are asked to start doing internship from 1st year onwards itself. They help students get intership opportunities and some seniors are currently doing internship.

Yearly fees structure of the course and scholarship

The fees for my course ( Bsc applied psychology (hons) ) is 127000 per yr - Tuition Fees : ?60,000–?70,000 per semester. It is the general range but if talking about my specific course it is ?64,500 - Caution Deposit : ?10,000 (one-time, refundable). - Admission Fees : ?2,500–?5,000 (non-refundable). - Other Charges : Additional fees may include development fees, lab fees, and miscellaneous charges. Category-Specific Fees : The fee structure remains uniform for general and reserved categories (SC/ST). However, financial aid options are there to reduce the overall financial burden Scholarships and Financial Aid : 1. Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship : - They give us a form which we are required to fill and selected students are awarded based on academic performance and family income. 2 . Institutional Scholarships : - Provided to deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need

Students views about the campus life

In full transperancy it is really bad you don't have a "campus life " here there are absolutely no programs what's so ever it a school but more strict, no fests no freshers no nothing a lot of poojas and that's it and even if there are any programs its only for the campus hostel students they are the only ones who can participate.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

There are mainly 3 faculty for psychology core courses and other faculty for value based courses. All of them are nice they try to understand you and they don't overburden you with a lot of things at once but the people superior to them are making them to suffer us. The faculties are helpless at times they don't have any idea about when they will conduct exams and after 1 exam we weren't even given a proper break and next to next week they are conducting 2 nd internals not giving us enough time to study or comprehend anything

What is the admission process of the college?

My dream college was Christ University Bangalore but due to certain issues I didn't got admitted there , then I thought of going to SRM but again due to certain issues I cancelled the plan I got admitted to jain university banglore but then I heard it was not good then some career counsellor recommended this to my parents. I had a interview with them via call and that's it then we were required to come for document verification.

Night Life

They have 2 campus one in town but it's small and only have limitted courses and the other one which is comparatively big is located in the outskirts of kochi it's a place out of nowhere you don't really get to go anywhere it's built on top of a hill so yea only a good view nothing else but if u travel a bit there is a waterfall but that's it and there is no such thing as night life if you are a hosteller you are required to be in the hostel back by 6 pm sharp .

Admission:

I applied to amritha vishwavidyapeeth kollam for the same course but i chose this as its a new campus and its near my hometown whereas amrita is far away for me as well as it was a bit more expensive than cvv for the same course.i got accepted but i chose here for various reasons. Admission was considerably easier we went through an agent and i sat through an interview and got selected here . There's no rigid barriers for Admission.

I had applied in the Marian College Kuttikanam but was not eligible to get an admission in that college due to less marks.The main reason for choosing this college was that this is a private deemed to be university and has specialisation courses like AI , DS , Robotics, Devops , Cloud Computing etc that is very beneficial for my future career.The admission process was very simple Step 1 : Contact the admission cell of the college and book an appointment Step 2 : Go to the college and fill the necessary forms and pay 10,000 rupees as caution deposit. Your seat will be booked and a day will be allotted for submission of the certificates.

I completed my 12th board at Chinmaya vidyalaya. since i really liked their manner and culture I choosed Chinmaya vishwa vidyapeeth...i choosed Chinmaya vishwa vidyapeeth because I got my most favoured course even though I got average marks on board.

Life in Chinmaya

Admission:

I applied to numerous universities including Indian maritime university, Amity kochi, SCMS and got admission in all of them but I chose Chinmaya because the travel is easy as metro is right beside the college and the location of the university was pretty good. Admission process of the college was pretty easy and simple. I applied online when I was abroad and got admission instantly. There were no entrance exams required for getting admission and no specific cutoffs.

Likes

There is wifi facility for the students and guests.
There is ksrtc facility to the campus for easy traveling of the students.

Dislikes

The ksrtc service only available at morning
The distance from collee gate to classroom is very long.

Admission:

I have choose this college because it is very convinient for daily travelling from home. The other reason is because of the addon course on the bba the logistics. I have been written cuet exam and got admission on lovely professional university but in their the bba course is not honours and there is no addin course so that ihave been choose this college.

An overwhelming campus life

Likes

The class atmosphere is really pleasing for a good day .

Dislikes

The campus is not much focused into extra curricular activities .
No much programmes to scoop out the talents in us.
Some management rules felt so biased and harsh .

Admission:

The eligibilty was above 65% in 12 th . The application form is available in their google site . No reservation benefits . An interview will be conducted for getting selection, with minimal questions about the course field

disapproval of giving fund for travel expense for college duties
The management is a scam. they are the least caring people of the university

Admission:

The admission process was very well done. registration is done by myself via cvv site. then verified email. documents where uploaded and application fee was paid. application was done fully online. eligibility criteria : HSS or state board certificates, CBSE,ICSE, NIOS of india, IB Diploma, cambridge university certificate also.
