Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Kochi Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 23 Reviews

The faculty at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth is highly professional, with most members holding doctorates or PhDs. They are praised for their mentorship, teaching approaches, and interaction with students, maintaining a balance of friendly and formal relationships. The student-to-faculty ratio is well-maintained, and faculties are approachable and supportive. The curriculum is relevant, adapting to changing trends, with two internal exams preceding semester exams.

However, exam scheduling can be inconsistent, impacting students' preparation time. Around 30-40% of students reportedly fail their exams, yet the faculty's guidance is instrumental in improving academic performance. There are concerns about bias and partiality among some faculty members, and the teaching strategies of some can be difficult to follow.

Overall, the faculty is efficient, with a diverse team across different sectors, contributing to a supportive academic environment.

The faculty student relationship are quiet good, they conduct weekly counselling sessions where they interact with alloted students and speak openly with them for one hour covering all issues they are facing both academically and personally.yes the curriculum is relevant and applicable in future and I personally liked the egcs faculty which means ethics, governance, cultural and social this faculty is mostly active and I haven't personally interacted with other faculties other than egcs

Faculty:

The faculty at CVV is good, there are teachers who are so good in teaching along with personal guidance. Most of the faculty done there Ph.D and also earned doctrate. The faculty focus on slow learning and take special classes. The classes are engaging with more presentations, activities etc. The faculty and students ratio is 1: 100 approximately I personally love nila mam's teaching, she teaches English and business communication for us, the classes are so engaging and comfortable, i really don't like the classes of Ambily ma'am, she teaches Principles and practices of management, her classes are so boring. I opt BBA Hons. The course is for 4 years which is 8 semesters. We have 3 internal and one end semester exam for every semester. The exam question paper is moderate, it's not very tough to pass.

Student Snaps:

Faculty:

The faculty student relationship is that they are friendly and open. Students are able to ask and clear doubts. There are few teachers who make sure their topic is clear to all before moving on and tries to understand the part of the students. There are three exams Internal1, internal 2 and the semester exams. They are moderate to an extent. Many fail to clear the exams but the over all proportion of failing is lower.

Faculty:

Perfect balance of faculty to student ratio. There's a balance of both friendly and formal relationship between faculty and student. The faculties are always open to hear and sit upon our worries. There are 2 internal exam before the semester end exam. Exams are not that difficult its partly based on our skill of application of theories in real life scenarios. Most of the students clear the exams. The course curriculum is mostly relevant as its necessary to adapt to changing trends.
