About Marian College Kuttikanam
Established in 1995, Marian College Kuttikanam is an autonomous institute. The college is owned by Catholic Diocese of Kanjirappally through the peermade development university. The college was accredited in 2003 and was re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade and CGPA of 3.52 out of 4 in 2014.
Started with three undergraduate programs,the college currently offers 20 programmes including doctoral programmes in the field of social work and commerce. The college offers many undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses with different specializations.
4.1 How to Apply?
Students have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the college for getting admission in a particular course. A completion of senior secondary education from a recognized is required for admission into undergraduate programmes.
In 2019 , the college laid the foundation of Marian auditorium and St. Matthew's Church. It also conferred the award of 'torchbearer' from India Didactics Association (IDA) in 2019.

Admission to UG courses at Marian College is provided on the merit obtained by the students in the last qualified examination.
However, for admissions to PG and research courses like MA, MBA, MCA, and M.Phil are entrance based followed by GD-PI.

- Computer labs - The college has a furnished and modernized computer lab with about 200 computer terminals that is operated by different administrators. The college organises regular computer activities for BCA and MCA students.
- A V Room - The audio visual Hall of the Marian college is by all the departments for activities like presentations, screening documentaries, short films etc.
- Library - The college has a well equipped and excellent two storeyed library with books, international journals and national journals that provides students with amazing learning resources. Library is open for the girl students from 8am to 8 pm and for the boys from 8am to 10 pm.
- Auditorium - The college organises it's celebrations, competitions, gatherings , performances and other events in the well equipped auditorium which have a capacity of about 1200 persons. The college auditorium has many modern equipment and has excellent audio and video facilities.

The main reason for choosing Marian college is because Marian college is an autonomous college. After plus two I only applied in Marian college for my degree and I got admission in the first allotment itself. The admission process of Marian college is based on the plus two mark of students. Students with good marks in plus two and who perform very well in the admission interview of Marian college can get admission in the college very easily.

- Eco friendly environment , the campus is really clean and they try to keep it as organic as possible
- Buildings , labs etc are well equipped with all kinda of facilities

- The college is run by a Christian management and that puts a lot barriers and rules that may seem too much for a lot people
- Doesn't encourage culturals in a bigger level

The course fees are very low here in aided batches , which means we can save a ton of money on tution fee and focus it on hostel fee or even better if we are a dayscholar.. there are good aspects like weather , the altitude in which the college is situated etc..to choose this college . To get admission we need to apply through the college portal since it is a autonomous college .they will get back to you after allotment if you get the seat .

- The college being situated in Kuttikkanam, is always covered in mist and fog, it's got cold mornings and evenings, the climate is very mesmerizing, and there are many places to visit near by the college. It's a great place to be at
- We have got good faculty that helps in shaping ourselves for the future. Their expertise at time may seem difficult to understand at the moment but in the long run it helps a lot.
Dislikes
- The college keeps increasing the fees every year there is no stability and when increasing the fees they don't consult with the students or parents.When fees increases it is not just one aspect that increases, all sorts of fees increases.
- There is too many rules to follow in hostels especially for girls, at times it seems very uncessary

The admission process of the college is very simple, you just need to vist the college official site, and you will be directed from the site. The registration fees is not high. Also the application process is simple and clear. If you provide all right details in the application process, it's likely that the college will call you. You will need 60-65% above marks to be eligible to apply for courses at Marian College Kuttikkanam

The admission process was done through online mode. The application was downloaded from the college website and was filled and given back with an application fees of about 1000 rs. The rest procedures are done through interview and group discussion method. Which are directly done in the college itself.

The application can be downloaded from the college website and it should be filled and applied with an application fees of 650 rs during my admission process. The rest contacts will be done either through online mode or through phone calls from the college. There can even be interview for the admission.

I had attended an entrance test to get admission to this college and had an interview. After that, they called me and I joined this college. The qualification for this course is any degree with 50% marks. We can find the application form on the college website itself. The admission processes are really good and satisfactory.

- Campus atmosphere- the campus atmosphere is absolute bliss with the climate complimenting the college. The collge campus is active till 8.

- The place is a remote area and all the essential elements won’t be available in short time.
Admission:
The admission process for the course involved two steps, which were an entrance exam and a personal interview. The entrance exam involved MCQ questions, Essay questions, and questions to examine the skills of the students. The personal interview was conducted by the Department HOD and Director. The question was related to the media and related topics.

There was an interview and entrance exam for the application process. The entrance was based on general knowledge, there were application-level questions and the professors took the interview based on the interests.
