Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is good, friendly staff and approachable. Disciplined schedules for each event or program. Exams are moderate, not too difficult or easy. If you've studied well then it will be easy to score decent grades. In a class of 60 atleast 7-8 students fail in atleast 1 subject. Course curriculum is pretty relevant, we recently had 2 courses update the syllabus to enhance academic growth.

There are 200 faculties in our college which are very much qualified and apt for their positions. The facilities are very open to students and they are very much approachable (most of them) We have 4 exams, 3 int exams anf 1 sem exam each sems. They follow a outcome based exam pattern

Most faculties are friendly and well educated but I still do think there should be improvement in certain departments , like bca . The only good aspect of the exams here are the SAVE A SEMESTER exams which gives you second chance to clear arrears or improve marks .

Basic Information on Marian College Kuttikkanam Autonomous

We have got good faculty that helps in shaping ourselves for the future. Their expertise at time may seem difficult to understand at the moment but in the long run it helps a lot.

Faculty:

The faculty in the Adided section has more experience and is more strict and less approachable, whereas the faculty in the Self Financing section has less experience and is more friendly with the students. The teaching methods are just the same as any other college.At times most of the assignments are handed to us as presentation of the syllabus to be covered, so basically the class is taken by students and the faculty would ensure if what is said is right or wrong. The exam structure as per old syllabus, I don't know about the new syllabus that is 4 year degree programme. I come under the 3 year one, so we have total 4 exams in one sem,3 internals and one sem. First internal is for a total of 5 marks, Second and third for 7.5 marks. Then there is 2 assignment marks each for 7.5 marks. Then semester exam is for 60 marks.The exams are not difficult to pass, the college follows outcome based education, once you understand the outcome of each module you will be able to answer the question
