About The Cochin College
Cochin College, Kochi is an organization started with an aim of passing on the education to the meritorious minorities living in the port city of Cochin notably in the landscape of Mattanchery and Fort Cochin area. From a meek Pre- degree course college, today the college has grown into an organization where post graduation, graduation and even research centre is established. The college has also been nominated as the west Cochin centre for IGNOU courses. This is an exclusive centre which seeks to cater all segments of the society with very powerful faculties, outstanding library and lab facilities having a good cultural heritage. The aim of the college is to make the Cochin College an institution of “PAR EXCELLENCE”. Along with academic inquiry the college emphasized the nurturing sports and other extra- curricular talents of the students.

- the college has a great amount of teachers that are so good at teaching . we have a big library facility that is also a great thing that i liked about thus college
- the college has a great infrastructure a good lab facility good teaching and non teaching staffs
Dislikes
- the things i have disliked is about the management the manangement is not proper
- the infrastructure of the classrooms are good but the benches the computer lab and all are a bit sad to see in these conditions

i choosed this collwge is because i had done my bachelors in the same college so knew many of the faculties and students there as well as te college is near my home so the travel and all are easy for me but the main reson is the atmosphere in the college its amazing

- Canteen is very small and very expensive
- Campus is not painted and class room is not good

The eligibility of the course the student must complete his/ her higher secondary education and the stream would be in computer applications or science.the admission process is to simple.the student want to register in mg University.

- They provide better education and entertainment programs
- They also provides us club wise programs

- They inform us about the fest program before the one day only
- They didn't provide frequent industrial visits

My parents suggest me to study in The Cochin college.i applied for my course through MG University.The application process was easy. I just filled a application form that requires all my personal details and information. i didn't took any entrance exam to get into the college .There is nothing about the admission process I didn't like it was a fast process, after the process of admission the next itself I got into the college.it was such a nice college.
Likes
- Campus Life was very nice. College had a very wide campus where we can spend a very good time
- College fest and Arts week was very entertaining for everyone there will be variety of programs conducted every day
Dislikes
- Infrastructure in college is very limited. The infrastructure facilities provided in classroom is very limited
- There is no campus placement available which will be very helpful for students for getting an experience
Admission:
Admission process was through single window system. So there was no any entrance exams Admission was based on your grade for Graduation course. Application fees was very reasonable as I received seat in merit.

- The vibe of the campus. The teachers and mates there are amazing
- They help us get more and more knowledge about the course we choose by conducting seminar, study programs
Dislikes
- Poor management. They are not willing to provide basic facilities for students
- Management rules are not helping students to grow as an adult

The 12th pass was the eligibility for the course. Application forms will be available on the site of the University (MG University). And there are management quotas too. For that, you have to approach the college directly. The admission process is quite easy and can be followed smoothly.

It was a centralized allotment process at my university. For BSc zoology students has to study biology science in 12. Application processes are all online. Reservations are plenty for different categories of the population.

I had no reservations so I don't know anything about it. SC/ST has many reservations. The admission process was simple and the staff was good. It only took 7000rs for admission. College is very good and I loved it.

Eligibility to apply for the course was +2. All the application process was done online. The fee was around Rs 650 to apply. I got admission in the general category but I was also able to avail benefits for OBC Category.

Cochin college was quite good because of its well-experienced faculties in the department of botany .you can get clear theoretical knowledge from your professors but the laboratory facilities are too old there are not many things to explore in the laboratory and campus also. You must use the library facilities of the college. This is an mg university-affiliated college. Admission is through a centralized allotment process conducted by the mg university If you have a very good score in your plus two exams then you must choose a college with a high naac accreditation grade or appear in integrated pg entrance exams of the various central university that will definitely enlight your career. If you score only 70-80 percentage in your plus two exams then this college is good for this range of marks and if you want to experience real campus life then study hard in your graduation and take admission in any of the prestigious institutes in India for your pg program. The faculty of this college is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My opinion about the course(B.com)is quite satisfying.It provides many job opportunities and not so much hard to study.The faculty in the college is extremely good and I think the student ratio is also little bit higher than other courses.The qualification of the faculty is mostly PG(M.com) graduated staffs and the teaching methods and practices are too good. The term exams happen in every 6 months and i feel its not quite hard at the same time not too easy,an average difficulty level

The Cochin College Kochi is a private college.
Yes, you can apply for sessions 2023-24 till July 2023. The admission are open and the application can be submitted on the official website
If you want admission to 3 Year of Full-time B.Com program you should have passed plus two with bookkeeping and accountancy from the recognized board of Education.

The fee for the 3-year BCA course is INR 18750. There is a concession in fees as per the category norms of the government.
