Likes

I liked the college because of its huge exposure. The university has its own museum of geology and manuscripts . The teachers here are also intelligent.Almost everyone pocess a doctorate.
And it also provides a huge library which helps the students to acquire more knowledge
E resources are also provided. There is wifi facility in the library. There is a main library and department library.

Dislikes

Things I disliked is that we don't recieve exact ppts from teachers. Spoon feeding is not here. We have to refer books and prepare notes

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed to study msc applied psychology in kerala university. Because it offers my interested specialization ( organizational behaviour) . The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. As it is applied psychology it equipes us to become more practical.I wish the placement cell to be more efficient in our university. Because the placements they offers are limited

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

During admission procedure, we have to pay around 6000. And this differ according to the category. OEC category need to pay only 2000.This is around 6000 for general category students. And there is sem fees and exam fees during each semester

Campus Life

The campus life is amazing. The infrastructure is great and it gives a royal vibe. Nostalgic memories can be created here.There are several clubs like dance club, music club sports club etc. There are campus day,Onam celebration, christmas celebration etc

Admission

The admission procedure of msc applied psychology in karyavattam campus is an entrance exam. A lots of students tried for admission. But only 25 seats are there . And I choosed the course because my specialization was offered by the university of Kerala, karyavattam campus

Faculty

Each faculties holds a doctorate degree. They are very approachable. They help us to improve our skills also In our psychology department there are several skill enhancing programs like visiting field, taking classes to ug students etc.They are not providing the exact notes . They ask us to refer books and prepare notes.Also we have to take lots of seminars that's frustrating. But actually it makes us more efficient .

Night Life

Our campus is surrounded by so many trees. And there are many bunches under those trees which we can hangout with friends. There are several canteens which includes indian coffee house. Students also hangouts during night

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).

Here the admission process can be done in a systematic way of allotment... We opted so many colleges , then i opted this college with the basis of my mark...
