I completed by graduation in mathematics from Sree Narayana college kollam under kerala university. The college has a beautiful library and has a serene ambience. Some teachers are very friendly with the students.

Dislikes

Placements are very low. Students are less exposured to industries

I opted only to write govt exams since degree is the min. qualification. Adequate faculties are there. Exam patterns are totally disturbed due to pandemic. Students are forced to write 4 sem exams in a duration of 8 months ????.

I am a BSc graduate and now I am going for bank coaching. With this graduation I can't get a well paying job in private sector. The percentage of students getting placements is very very low. Companies visited are hdfc,

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost of study is minimum but donations of the college are very high . According to the 12th mark, students get scholarship. Campus selections are very low. I don't get any job but got 1 st part of the scholarship and it cancelled the scholarship due to increase in the annual income. Practical studies are not available to students and it is the main reason for the reduction in campus selection

Campus Life

College life is full of programmes. We are eagerly waiting for an event to be conducted and it will be smoothly organised by the college union. Our college has a wonderful library with a lot of books and I think it is one of the biggest library under kerala university. Our college provides equal importance in the field of sports. Classrooms needs to improve digitalisation in sense.

Admission

No entrance exam is required. Only based on 12th mark. The mark evaluation of kerala syllabus and cbse is entirely different and it affects the admission process. Cbse students find it difficult to get through too many trials

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Highest and Average Packages by Company and Profiles Offered are, for undergraduate (UG) students: ?3,00,000 per annum.For postgraduate (PG) students: ?3,45,000 per annum. Roles Offered:Positions include researcher, technical writer, and analyst. Percentage of Students Getting Placements:For UG students, approximately 4.26% were placed, with 16 out of 376 students securing jobs.For PG students, about 16.42% were placed, with 22 out of 134 students securing positions. My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
