The festivals that are conducted by our college are really amazing we played and enjoyed a lot.
The professors are well qualified and are very helpful and friendly towards students.
There has to be a clear and good admission process.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, this college is only having limited games and all for 4yrs we will get bored over here
The faculty do provide a better educational system but the way they teach the students lack effectiveness.
Term exams are conducted every 6 months it is a little bit difficult to pass.

Lourdes my colleague

Likes

The friendly and approachable behaviour of faculty.
The syllabus which enhances our work skills.
The college has a green campus wich gives greater environment to study

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good especially furniture.
Roads inside the campus are not good with not enough parking.
Electricity cutout regularly which intersect is our studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that peak my interest towards this course was it's 60 to 40 percent carriculam were 60% theory and 40% theory and also we only need 14 marks for passing out of 40. The exam are conducted at the end of semester.

The college has a very good canteen which is clean and provide delicious food for reasonable rates
The semester fees is affordable as compared to other colleges and their facilities
As iam a mechanical engineering student the college has many advanced machines in the lab that cannot be seen in other private colleges

Dislikes

The roads inside the campus is very bad and gittery
Regarding the hostel timing, all students need to enter the hostel before 6 pm , which I feel as a restarinment from oru freedom
In the recent years a lot of trees has been cut down in the campus and I feel it as a bad method for the development of campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in 3 year of their course and to be more specific semester 6 is where the placement start TVS , Sutherland, infosys, MRF, these are some of the main companies that provide placement here 15000 is the minimum package offered and highest package dependents on oru potential Almost 80 % of the students get placement in my college My plans after the degree is for further studies

Likes

The college provide well qualified teaching faculty .
There uncountable cultural program's, also a green campus and supportive faculty
The intership provided by the college is very in carrier building.

Dislikes

Classroom furniture and the grooming standards.
Distance between blocks so much to walk.
Roads not properly managed inside campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The intership that we get every is very helpful in future carrier building. 60:40 ratio of practical and theory. They also teaches real job training with the environment. Just university need to advertise this course throughout the state.

Likes

The classes at not extremely long just 45 mins
The campus has engaging activities like fests.sports,etc
The college infrastructure is below average.

Dislikes

The curriculum is not perfect ,it has its flaws
The courses are not entirely relevant to the degree.
The college lacks in technological advancements

The students are eligible for campus placements starting from the seventh semester. The placement opportunities are based on students academics and skills The percentage of students getting placed are above 90

University College the heart of Trivandrum

Campus provide library for each department...which is a beneficiary for scholars.
As the campus was at the heart centre of trivandrum most of the expos programmes were also conducted in our college
As the college belongs to the first grade colleges in Kerala, the faculties were very efficient.

Dislikes

Lack of maintenance of the building and proper cleaning. The ameneties are not much helping for the entire students.
Poor administration and lack of planning, which make the campus in the hands of dirty politics.
Lack of water source, drinking water also in a miserable condition., stray dogs in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course MA History is very very traditional. As a student who learn this could only became a Lecture by the syllabus and curriculum. But the improvement in archealogy related pracrical sessions and multi-subject learning by blending it with more geography and politics could make the course more effective and also job securing.

Main thing I liked about the college is the faculty
Teachers are highly qualified and teach in a understandable way
Collage environment is also neat and clean

Dislikes

Collage is very strict.We cannot use phone in classroom
No enjoyable collage events and programs
Highly priced canteen food compared to bakery

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester is eligible for campus placements. Infosys,Tcs, allianze, guidehouse etc are main companies visited. Average package was 3-5lpa Most of the students opt for higher studies than placement but students who appeared for placement more than half of them got job offers. My plan is to get job through placement

Kerala University, the place we can become better self

Likes

I liked the college because of its huge exposure. The university has its own museum of geology and manuscripts . The teachers here are also intelligent.Almost everyone pocess a doctorate.
And it also provides a huge library which helps the students to acquire more knowledge
E resources are also provided. There is wifi facility in the library. There is a main library and department library.

Dislikes

Things I disliked is that we don't recieve exact ppts from teachers. Spoon feeding is not here. We have to refer books and prepare notes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed to study msc applied psychology in kerala university. Because it offers my interested specialization ( organizational behaviour) . The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. As it is applied psychology it equipes us to become more practical.I wish the placement cell to be more efficient in our university. Because the placements they offers are limited

The faculty members are well experienced and supportive
The campus is peaceful and good academic environment
The library has enough books and resources for history students

Dislikes

There are many wastes are seen in college surroundings
Absence of waste basket is cause high dumb of waste materials
Take long time in office activities get certificates from office

Likes

The campus is good and large. Nice atmosphere and peoeple
Batchmates are cool and esay to communicate
Teachers are friendly and management is also friendly

Dislikes

Lack of cultural program's and entertainment in the campus
Intervals are short its only 5 minutes. To pee it takes 10 minutes
Classes are filled with desks and benches but not enough students

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

The staff and teachers are very friendly and very helpful for studies
Clean and very hygienic toilets and classrooms
Well clean and hygienic canteen and have good food for budget friendly

Dislikes

Less transportation facility for the students are coming long
Have some ragging issues from the seniors
Less lab facility for computer science and engineering students

Placement Experience:

The companies are coming to the college in very year and students are able attend to the placement interview in the final semester. Wipro, tata technology and other companies are visiting college campus and many of students are placed vert year. Offering average 150000 Rs per year salary package
