What Students Say

Likes

Good teachers and supportive facilities.
Provide library facilities and provide enough time to visit also.
Affordable fees for BCA i.e, only 13000 per semester.

Dislikes

Old syllabus and need much updated teaching method.
Crashed university website which make difficult for result published day.
Not supporting for implementing new technologies to mini as well as major projects.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA has much scope in future.it is the main and primary reason for choose it.it has highly influence in IT field. There is many areas which requires improvement, need implementation of new technologies in the syllabus and need improvement in teaching and exam structure.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Not year-wise, sem-wise fee structure is provided. For Each sem , 13,010 rupees for tution fee with seperate fee 730 at the end of the sem as exam fee . At admission stage we want to pay caution deposite to the university which is returned after the completion of dropup of the course. Scholarship is available. Main scholarship is egrantz , mainly for OEC students and seperate concession for sc/St students.

Campus Life

In our college there is mainly three celebration in an year,they are Onam , Christmas and college day. All students will enjoy these days with there students. College library include almost every books reffered in the syllabus. The college contain only a single ground which is for parking vehicle. Our college have NSS group, which involved in social and palliative care activities.

Admission

In Thiruvananthapuram, there is only few colleges has BCA course. Most of them are self finance colleges. I look for the college with best facilities therefore I choose this college. Admission process starts by online applying. If we get allotment at that college,that respective college facilities will contact us directly.

Night Life

Our college doesn't provide gym or cafetery facilities. Only library facility is available. In our college no hostel facility for boys as well as girls. Those who need Accommodation facility then remain as paying guest as on our effort.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Telling about myself, i didn't choose this course(BCA) because i liked it. I chose it because it was the only course i saw with a scope and a good job. It's hard to learn some programming languages. And i know I'm not well suited for this thing. But it's my need to expertise my skill in this course. I need to make a living, provide for others in future. Timing of exams are not that good. The first model exam starts after less than 2 months. Then the second after 2 months... Then the main model and the semester main exam along with lab exams.

A simple review.

The eligibility of the course is to pass 12th standard with minimum marks. No entrance exams was required at the time of my admission, it was done through the website of Kerala University. The application form can be found out through the site of Kerala University itself And a nominal application fee is required. There are exemptions for students from the reservation communities and classes. My suggestion is that the website has to be improved as it is not performing very well....Read More
