Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for 2-year MSc Computer Science(Data Analytics) Programme is Rs. 1,90,000 Tuition fee - Rs. 90,000/-, Value-added & employability programmes fee Rs. 1,00,000 which has to be paid in 2 instalments. SC/ST/OEC candidates who avail seats under the reservation category are fully exempted from paying the tuition fee.

Campus Life

4

The library is the main highlight of the college as it is of world class standard with fully air conditioned infratructure with good no of books and research articles and also hi-tech systems to access variety of online portals and platforms. Sports is not an focus compared to others, but they do provide good facilities for sport acyivities with gym facilities for both genders and good no.of courts for basketball, badminton and football

Admission

Mainly the curriculum, infrastructre and the level of the teaching faculties was my reason for the admission but after the first sem the faculties were all over the place with other tasks other than teaching and it was quite dissappointing

Faculty

4

There are less number of faculties for the student. Most of the faculties are friendly and approachable. In a typical semester , there are 2 internal theory and 1 internal practical and at last an end sem examonation

Night Life

4

Hostel timing: Male : curfew at 10 pm Female : curfew at 7 pm Good food and decent accomodation. Great cafeterias and public areas for spending quality time. College is in a good neighbourhood and is near metro

This course have more oppurtunities in the present time as the data is increasing day by day and we are dealing with data. So we have more oppurtinities than any others. We have a special post in every fields. Course is doing only theory build up and less in concentrating the practical application side of the theory we have studied.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
