Course Curriculum Overview

5

few teachers just come to class to finish of the portions, but it's not their fault. the time hours allotted to them to complete the portions is too conjusted. as a result they have just got time to finish off the portions too quickly. frequency and timing of exams is fine but at times it vary as the college is a Autonomous college hence the dates given to the mg university to approve may change.

Internships Opportunities

4

I haven't join an internship course yet so can't say much details about it. but considered with it from other people it's quite good as they offer a wide range of job opportunities especially from famous companies.

Placement Experience

5

I guess it's from the 6th semester. there are many companies especially the big 4's like KPMG, KY, DELOITTE, all of those had made their offers and many students who passed out as well as got into those. 80-89% of the students get the placements. I haven't yet decided my plans aftergetting the degree as of now.

Fees and Financial Aid

the four installment for college first year- 215000. second year Rs.2,05,000, third and fourth year Rs.2,25,700. registration fees was 500. reg as well as tuition fees are all the same for all categories. there's no merit cum financial aid available before classes starting. but there are ones available provided by mg university and other institutions etc for merit based students.

Campus Life

5

as a new academic year starts first program is the inaugural day - deeksharambam. and then freshers day. then events like onam, Christmas celebration. in December the main inter fest called splendore. then ethnic day. iv and other tours. there is a 3-4floor of library with a wide range of books available. within the classrooms there are smart boards, ac, spacious benches and classrooms in general. windows for air circulation. overall it's all good. there is everyday coaching for all sports after class for the ones you have joined for the certain sport. there is 3 basketball courts one football court. and many more.

Hostel Facilities

4

my hostel is actually quite good. foods are really good compared to the other ones.rice with non veg and veg options for lunch and dinner. with chapati, porotta, pulav, biriyani and other types of rice. for breakfast puri bhaaji, dosa chutney, puttu curry, etc.

Admission

I always wanted to join rajagiri college. also because I've heard about this college being quite great for my course. I had applied to Marian college, kuttikanam as a backup option. but again since I got in rajagiri I chucked it. admission process was quite stressful nd lengthy for me but it was really simply for some other people. so it all depends. I guess everyone above 70-75% in cbse is eligible to apply and join the college. overall experience in admission was ok-ok but at the end worth it

Faculty

5

they all are quite nice as long as we follow and adhere to the rules required to be followed. they are friendly and approachable as well if we have doubts or enquiries about anything. I quite liked my first sem class teacher Dr. sangeetha who teached us he subject eba. I loved how she was in general. no specific teachers I didn't like, but few teachers who used to just come to finish off the portions was a - ve point as the classes used to be so boring. there's is a main sem exam for each sem and two internal exams for each sem. exams are quite fine if we learn. most of them are course curriculum itself.

Night Life

4

it actually depends on the curfew you've got. as for me a hosteller in girls hostel we got out curfew at 7. so it's necessary to be back by 7 unless there's some program, event or tour happening by the college. boys hostel has their curfew at 8:30 and it again depends for those people who live in pg or as day scholars not having a curfew. there is college gym available for both girls and boys in all working days and hours. library also is open almost all days exception to the holidays. amigos, darshana, skypiea etc are spots inside the college. chill spot, Al Taza, emarath outside the college nearby. locality is quite safe.

Placement Experience:

Mostly campus placements are provided to third year students because they seek employment opportunities more than others . From my college some of the students are got selected by the companies as trainees or freshers . But only few of the students are got selected by the companies because of fear and lack of communication skills

St Teresa's college is one of the prestigious college in Ernakulam City. And also it provides numerous of opportunities for the students to exhibit their talents and also to find their own abilities and skills. That's the main reason for me to choose St Teresa's for my higher studies. In addition to that, in the year of 2019 St Teresa's has gained A++ in NAAC, which makes St Teresa's unique from the other colleges of Ernakulam.
