- The teaching staffs are well educated and rather than just spoon feeding the students with random topics they use methods like seminar,roleplay etc to enhance our skills
- The College campus is well maintained,clean and eco friendly
- The College has got a NAAC ranking of 20 in India which give certificate value and helps us while applying for jobs
Dislikes
- The campus lacks many facilities for a professional college,it does not have a College ground and uses the Rajagiri schools ground as its own , swimming pool,parks etc are also not available
- Apart from academic the College lacks any other activities like cultural programmes and fest are really limited
- College give priority only to basketball and no othe sports is supported
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying Bcom with ACCA.Bcom provides me with a degree and ACCA is a professional course which is completed in 3 years.Perciving ACCA in rajagiri provides me a exception of 9 papers out of the 13 paper ofACCA
Internships Opportunities
There is no internship opportunity yet heard of.We can do intership in our own risks but the college doesn't provide any internships.The college conducts self development programmes like beach cleaning,old age home visit etc
Placement Experience
In the third year there are campus interview from companies like IBM,EY, INFOSYS etc with a package of 4lakhs per annumThe selection will be for 50-60 students but in rare cases more than 100 students are given placement based on performance.In the case of ACCA there is no campus placement.But i can approach any company with my ACCA certificate for a job
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fee for 4year rounds to 8,65,000/- In which 2,25,000/- is paid in the first year 2,05000/- in second year 2,15,000 in thrd year 2,20,000 in the final year The total tution feees is 5,00,000 and the and the lan fees, development fees ,office fees etc rounds up to a total of around 200000/- The course also includes Acca so the tution fee includes the Acca classes tooo We have. To pay additional amount of 25000 for each acca exam we write
Campus Life
There are mainly 5 programmes in the college.First one is called Euphoria conducted by the computer department.Then there comes splendore by Commerce department.Then there is Psyesta by Psychology department.Then the other programs are ethnic day and freshers day.The programmes are just for a show and they are not that good.It doesn't feel like a college program but rather feel like a school program
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is in walkable distance from the college but the facility is too poor .The food is too bad and rooms are really small.We cant get out of the hostel after 8.30 pm and we cant get out of the room after 9.30pm.The hostel is too strict
Admission
I didn't consider applying to other colleges because rajagiri was one of the few colleges in kerala with ACCA and is the best in the basis of academics .And rajagiri provides 9 paper exemption which was not available in other colleges during the time of my admission
Faculty
The staff members are well educated.There are about 100 teaching staffs in the whole college taking various subjects.The staffs are capable of handling more than one subject.Most of the staffs are really helpful and are friendly and approachable but some of them has ego issues and are rough with the students
Night Life
There is a vast library covering 3 floors,there is gym for both boys and girls and there is a basketball court.There is no other facilities.There is a football ground , badminton court and swimming pool but all that belongs to the school and is only partially available by the college students.There is no night life in college
