  • The campus is not much gender friendly as the lack in the equality.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I opted is mathematics with minor in data science which is somewhat rare in my state Kerala. So as it is rare we are having a high opportunity to get placed. They aren't that tough which literally doesn't it is too easy. The examinations are smooth if we prepare well.

Internships Opportunities :

Saying about the internships I am not aware of that. But we are given tasks to do 2 projects in the annual year of our academics which will be assisted by a faculty of our own choice. My project will be on a cnn model which includes segmentations and mathematical model of the datasets.

Placement Experience :

The placement opportunities are very high. We get a minimum package of 6.5 lakhs per annum and more. The top end companies like EY , Deloitte, Tcs , federal bank, IBM, Tetrapark etc.. are available for us.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So basically for each semester its 50,500. If we are passed in merit seat it gets reduced to somewhat near to 20k. Initially we pay a Caution deposit of 5000 and if we are staying in hostel we are giving 63000 per year

Campus Life :

There are so many festivals like for both technical and non technical are conducted in our campus every year. The main fest is named Vidyut which has several workshops and proshows . In this festival several students across the world is participating. Moreover there are some small festivals and celebrations like diwali holi onam etc are also there and there is arts and sports fest also..

Admission :

The admission process wasn't that much difficult. We must have atleast 65% in 12th standard and also have to pass an exam which will be conducted by our campus itself and an interview to check our knowledge on our syllabus.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are having Phd and they are very smart. They assure that every student must understand what they are saying. They regularly keep in touch with every students for assuring that they are learning everything.

Placement Experience:

There are departments with placements and university has got a placement cell. There are also various career guidance classes, Innovation and entrepreneurship development centre(IEDC) to support students. But my course is more of a research oriented and as such I can apply for phd opportunities myself. The faculties will help in getting internships, recommendations and journal publications as long as long as we are interested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the course, as it is a pg course the main thing is the effort we put in this subject. The teachers has a limit and it is always the effort we put from our side to complete the course. Frankly speaking, the course is a tough one. Syllabus is so long that many things are there to study.

Placement Experience:

A fair placement opportunities are provided by the college. Students are trained form their start of second year to perform well in placement interviews. From the start of 4th semester students are eligible for campus placements. A number of prominent companies (including Nestle, in the case of my course) comes here for campus recruitments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is to be updated. The university provides a weak syllabus and the system of conducting examinations are outdated. Exams are not in time and the results are delayed. Exams are moderate to easy. Sometimes same questions appear. But, course helped me to get a vast knowledge about my subject

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.
