Remarks :

Positive remark is that this college is having student technical clubs like amfoss and bi0s where students study cryptography, web development, app development etc. Negative remark is that this college is 10 kms away from railway station.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is little bit harder for an average student at the beginning and after that they will be get used to this course curriculum. The university is following a Semester based pattern. Consist of 8 semester in 4 years. Each semester consist of 2 periodical exams and 1 final semester exam. 15 periodical1 + 15 periodical2 + 20 Internal + 50 End Semester.

Placement Experience :

Amrita University is mainly known for placements and over last few years all the eligible students will be placed and 100 percentage of placements is noted for last 5 years. On the beginning of 7th semester itself the companies will start visiting the campus and there will be around 100 companies visiting and they also provides internship opportunities also with stipend from 10000 to 60000. On college also they will give internship opportunities to students on the semester holidays.

College Events :

There will be several events happening on the campus.Some of them are Amrita Kalotsavam, Anokha, Vidyut, Sports Meet etc. One of the main event is Vidyut it's an National level multi fest and it will be of 3 days consisting of Workshops, Talks, Games, events, Hackathon, Concerts etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is expensive even if the student got admission through entrance examination. For 2016-20 batch the overall fee will be 10 lk. And they are increasing the fee every year. The students who entered through management seat need to may some more amount.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No,I dont had any scholarship It's slightly expensive. It's over 3lacs for a merit students and over 4lacs and above for management students. I don't have in mind teh complete fee structure as of now so I can't provide much more details regarding tha

Campus Life :

The albs are pretty much good and have everything a student would need. But regarding sports this college is a total blunder. They doesn't care about sports. They do have a gym which is average. This is not a college a sports guy would want to choose.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, they are helpful and are totally fair about this college regarding anything that you ask. I contacted them through quota. And to be fair they very pretty much honest about everything. In fact there is a alumnI network fort this college

Admission :

Placement opportunities. Quality education. Internship opportunities. Travel is convenient. Negetive: Mess food. Fee is little bit expensive even if the student selected through entrance exams.Scholarship facilities is available in the college on which a student need to score top ranks in Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination called AEEE and the scholarship varies as rank varies and loan facility is not available.

Faculty :

All the facilities in the college are friendly and most of the faculties in our college had taken their PhD and they have a good knowledge on the subject that they are takings. There are so many faculties in different departments.Yes, Almost every alumni who has graduated from Amrita is in a good positions. Every students pin Amrita will get placed and some students will go for Higher Studies. As senior students told about the opportunities they offer at Amrita is really true

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
