Likes

Study environment of university is very good
Area where campus is situated in very good.
Teaching is very good so that is quite different from other universities.

Dislikes

Lab infrastructure can be improved as instruments are very old.
Language problem can arise for non -bengali students.
Placement is not that good so you have to see that by yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is similar to that of other universities and colleges.I choose this course because of my interest in the subject.In electrical also there are courses of programming which can be helpful for those who considering their future in it industry.Exam occurs at every end of semester and if preperation is done sincerely then it is quite easy to score.

Internships Opportunities

Companies don't come for internship purpose but you can apply online to various internship and take leave and permission to do it. Stipend is generally not given by the internship provider and are unpaid.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is not that good so you have to take care of that by yourself and it also varies from department to department. Campus placement starts from 4th year and companies start to visit. Average package is nearly 4-5 lpa. I am to take Gate examination so that is my future plan

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 12000 which is very minimal and affordable.Caution fees is included in 1st sem fees and is 500.There is no lab fees like that.There is no reduction in fees for different categories.And the fees also has been constant without any increase or decrease in it.Scholarships are verified from university.

Campus Life

Library is quite vast and accessible to everyone.Books varies from department level to advanced and also for competitive exams. Sports events are organised every year in the campus for cricket,football,badminton,etc.

Admission

I really didn't apply for any other college than this.I thought of taking admission in Galgotia but it's fee structure and the review of that college was also not very good.I took jee mains exam but couldn't crack it so I took admission here as fee Structure is also very good and study environment is also good. It takes its own exam known as AUAT but also takes admission of those students who have qualified Wbjee and jee mains. Admission process is very simple as after giving entrance exam there is offline counceing itself in the campus so departments are allotted according to rank.Documents are verified itself on that day.

Faculty

Faculty is very good and they solve your queries for both academic and non academic purposes.Ratio of faculty to student is good but can be improved.Best faculty is there in Electrical engineering department as they are very approachable and teaching is also very good

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

From 6th semester students become eligible to for campus placements(internships as well as full time offer). 105 companies visited in 2025 and many package offered by them based on student's skill. highest palcement : 45 LPA offered by amazon. Percentage of students getting placemnets : 86%. After getting the degree my plan is to take a decent job and to be finanancially stable.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
