About My University(Aliah University)

i would rate the course curriculum as moderetly .especilly in the point of view theriotacally its lays a solid foundation . the curriculum is academicaly sound and builds a strong conceptual base. however its not relevent to todays job market.

it depends on what kinds of corses you are doing like btech, mba. internship they are offering according to your field but you have the option , you can search your self also but you need to to submit the project according to the deadline.

The placements cell is very poor at this university. most companies visited here like- Amazon.tcs and many startup companies. avarage pacakages- 3-5 lpa highest-12 lpa. 40 percent student got palacement through campus placements. I have apeared for the palacement although i was not getting any oppourtunity so at that time i was try to contact myself.

Aliah university is govt University and the university offers semester wise fees.when you joined you have to pay the 1st semester fees then you have the option to pay semester wise. semester fess around 5000- 6000 per semester.( 2016-2021 int MBA). we had the few other state seat available for the students who is belongs from other state.so we have 2 batchmates they were belongs from others state but i dont have the exact fees structure. The university also offer few scholarship like-meritcumins which is under west bengal govt and if you are doing master like mtech or mba then you are elgible for merit cummins scholarschip . Aliah univerty offers many courses like-btech ,science,Management,nursing,arts etc

The university never conduct any grand tech fest which is very crucial aspect to the technical and management student but yes we have the departmenatl fest etc. the libarary is good but not the best , you can get most of the books according to your study materials. sports- not the best its like school level. alumunis are not conductable .

3 types roomsare availbale at hostel like- 3 person bedroom( for 1st- 2nd years student), 2 person bedrooms (for 2nd -4th year students), single room ( for last year students and phds scholars). The univerty relese hodtel form every years and they alogate according to distance and financial condition. pg or rented room available at mohammadpur village (opposite the eco sapace), chinar park 8 kms from the university( very good for daly transportation).

aliah university is a state goverment university and the fees structure is extremly affordable compared to others university. Althoug not a rankd among the top universties but aliah university has a growing academic reputation . admission process is very simple -you have to prepare AUAT admission test exam which ic conducted by aliah university itself.

At Aliah university faculty student ratio is decent not the best.faculty members are apporchable and supportive.specialy when its comes academic quries and project related. faculty i didnt like- with out disrespect few phd scolars were involve in student politics which is not actable.

There is no gd and pi but you have to clear AUAT test which is conducted by university it self. after clear the AUAT test you must have 50% marks in last exam like 12th and 10th. need basic math and english for this test

gym available for girls but not for girls , students mostly protest for their daily survive things like gym,canteen, sports. authroties dont much look in this field. hostel is very good both for girls and boys and it is coverd by cam and gaurd. famous place - newtwon coffe house,amity university, biswa bangla gate, eco park (walking distance from aliah university)
