Likes

I liked the campus and it's infrastructure
I liked the course though it was tough to handle
The library has itself a quite good studying place

Dislikes

We have a swimming pool though its closed from 3 years
Acces of wifi is limited we cannot access in library
Activities of fun are very less if you are a daily traveller student

Course Curriculum Overview

I got into the branch of Electronics and communication engineering by the position of rank I got. You might get promoted to CSE if there is seats available on that branch. Though teachers were friendly but curriculum is hard and it puts you a lot of pressure also

Internship started to come with placements. As I mentioned before you have to be skilled and relevant to get placed and internship of minimum 6 months are given by every company that comes if you clear there selection rounds

Completing the journey of three years in btech as you entered the 4th year 7th sem you'll be able to start hearing about company coming to take placements. In order to stay relevant you need to start working on your skills from the second year. We do have some good placements but it depends on how skilled you are.

As this university is under the administration of government of West Bengal of minority affairs, so the fees would always be the nominal plus you might able to get scholarship in the process of admission

Campus Life

Talking about extra circular activities, we don't do much. As being a btech student here you don't get enough time to do so but we annually organize inter department freshers party, farewell party, and teachers day. We have annual sports events, university football team, cricket team etc

Admission

I took the WBJEE exam to enter this university. But you can take the entrance exam conducted by university itself to get admission. I got the rank of 12k in wbjee and got admission in it. You can take wbjee examination by filling the form on WBJEE examination website

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I really didn't apply for any other college than this.I thought of taking admission in Galgotia but it's fee structure and the review of that college was also not very good.I took jee mains exam but couldn't crack it so I took admission here as fee Structure is also very good and study environment is also good.
