Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at Satyawati College is generally well-structured, aligning closely with contemporary academic and industry standards. It covers essential theories and practical applications relevant to the field, ensuring students gain a solid foundation. Influencing Aspects: Specific aspects that influenced my decision to choose this

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 14545 for 2 years then for the 3rd year I paid 15465 rupees and i don't have a scholarship You can get a scholarship thorough various schemes run by different companies if your family earning is less than 10 lakhs rupees

Campus Life

0.5

No fests are organised in satywati college at any occasion at any costs whether how much the students protest or plead the faculty and command commision of the college they never care about students in regard to college fests

Admission

I applied for khalsa college but i never got accepted in that college so i never got to know how it is there I was rejected because there were no seats left amd i filled my cuet form with 3 subjects only so i got ba program that was an honest mistake from my side so i got satywati college

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is less and faculty is suppotive I liked the hindi faculty better as they are the most interesting people amd they constantly chek upon your performances Exams are only once per semester and they are easy

Night Life

Satyawati College, located in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, provides students with a balanced campus life but limited nightlife options. The campus facilities, including the library, cafeteria, and gymnasium, usually operate during standard college hours and serve as prime spots for daytime relaxation and productivity. However, Satyawati College does not offer on-campus hostel accommodations, so many students reside in nearby paying guest facilities in areas like GTB Nagar and Vishwavidyalaya, which are known for their student-friendly atmosphere. When it comes to unwinding after classes, students often venture outside the campus. Popular hangout spots include Netaji Subhash Place (NSP), a bustling hub with numerous eateries like Billu’s Hut and cafes offering affordable meals. Another student favorite is Hudson Lane, renowned for its vibrant cafes and diverse cuisine. These places are perfect for late-night snacks, group studies, or casual gatherings. While the immediate vicinity of the colleg

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
