What Students Say
Likes
- Proximity to north campus gives us the proper DU vibes.
- Satyawati has the strongest northeast society across DU.
- Satyawati has a really excellent History Department.
Dislikes
- The college location is horrible. It is far from the metro, and going to and fro often includes traveling through traffic.
- The college has a horrible canteen. Students often go across the road to eat at a popular point named "Panditji Paranthewale".
- The college has a horrible administration, as it is one of the few who take physical forms instead of Google forms.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I'm interested in History. Faculty student ratio is really good, and I can confidently say that this college has a good History faculty and department. Their teaching methods include giving out notes and important questions. Term exams were alright, but some teachers do dish out marks with difficulty.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is really low for well to do students, as it is just 14,000 per year. Students who cannot afford the college fee structure can apply for scholarships like Ishaan Uday and several other scholarships handed out by the government.
Campus Life
As of now the fest has not taken place, but there are college fests, society fests and several other. They are usually held in February. The library is not that well facilitated. Classrooms are alright. We have different sports, including Football, Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Kho Kho and Kabaddi.
Admission
The admission process was really confusing, as we still don't know how the results have been based. Especially the admission process into DU has been very chaotic and confusing, as they have come up with their own admission window named "preference list", and several people with lesser marks are in top colleges while people with good marks are in off-campus colleges.
