Course Curriculum Overview

3

I have done bcom programme from this college. This course is best in the way that it opens the doors for various paths, for example, CA, CS, CMA, Mcom, MBA, etc. So this course is relevant for almost every commerce student in today's time. Though the course curriculum is good, there are some improvements needed in teaching methods. Teachers should relate the topic with real world to give better understanding of the curriculum. The frequency and timing of exams are fine. No improvement needed in these.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are no placement opportunities available in satyawati college. Every year, placement fair is being organised in which companies come with internship opportunities. 96% of the companies provide internship in sales or marketing field.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a general category student. During my time, the annual fees of satyawati college used to be INR 7000 to INR 10000. These amounts are inclusive of all the additional fees and extra charges that were asked by the college. There were no scholarship provided in this college at that time.

Campus Life

4

There are many societies like NSS, Ncc, Debate society, Saksham placement cell, environmental society, etc. present in the college and each of them organize their own fests every year. Each of them has their own freshers party, farewell and ethnic day. The biggest society of satyawati college is The corporates which is the commerce society of this college. Their fest is the best among all other fests of satyawati college. Also, a newly renovated library is there in this college in which there are around 5-7 books of the all the subjects are present. Other books apart from the course are also present. A big playground is also there in the college where students can play all kinds of sports after issuing equipment from sports room.

Admission

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. So satyawati college was the only college I got at the end. The admission process was easy and according to the fees, satyawati college is good.

Faculty

3

Some faculties are good. They are quite knowledgeable and friendly with the students and listen to each and every doubt of students, whether it's related to course or other than that. Mrs Kangan jain and Miss Al Huda are the best faculties according to me. But some of the faculties are around average as they lack few knowledge about the subject. And also they do not have any sort of friendly relationship with students. Talking about the exams, the level is moderate. Even if you sincerely study 1 week before the exam, you will easily be able to score good marks. The marking scheme is also lineant.

Night Life

4

The cafeterias, library and gym remain open from 9 am till 7 pm. There are two shifts in the college:- morning and evening. The morning shift starts from 8:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm. After 2:30 pm, evening shift starts.

Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
