I really like the auditorium of our satyawati college.
I really loved the ground and the vast number of games our students play/enjoy there.
And last i can say specially the New building, it is one of the best things from our college

Dislikes

The politics that took place in the college during election season i really hate that, i just want peace kinda environment sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally want to go into economics sector, Because of two reason 1. I want to learn about economics in deep 2. My economics background was very strong in my higher school The faculty is frank and very open to help you in academics as well as personal scale.

You are eligible for the placement in your last semester, as pur college's societies like ENACTUS & SAKSHAM has taken the responsibility on their arms and they provide placement to students. They also assure the basics requirements for the jobs ,and gives out the best placement for our bright students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable for students like me But there are some students who still cannot afford fees like this , for this university has a special scholarship programme that gives you 100% fees refund if you are below poverty line, and some other circumstances too!

Campus Life

The campus is above average, the ground is very big we havr the biggest auditorium in whole Delhi University, and the infrastructure is not that bad, but on a scale of 10 i will definitely rate it 7.5 or 8

Admission

Yes there was CUET, we had given cuet as the entrance test and after that , the course eligibility was haveing economic and maths in higher school. We find application form from the DU official site. I jus want to see one improvement that is the error while checking results due to crash of site.

Course Curriculum Overview:

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Not my first choice, but not a Bad one either

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The reason why I choose this subject because I like history and want to know more about it . History have the best opportunities to pursue the UPSC , Anthropology, archeology and we can learn more about historical researches . The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. I had placed satywati college at the seventh position in my preference list and based on my CUET score and eligibility, I was allotted this college. while i had higher preferences, I couldn't make it to those due to high cutoffs in popular north campus colleges. however, Satyawati offered a decent academic environment and the course i wanted, so i confirmed my admission here....Read More
