Likes
- Infrastructure is very good. The library, classrooms are all air conditioned and the sports complex is the biggest highlight
- The food facilities. We have 3 canteens, for example the Nescafe stall, amul stall and the super affordable srcc cafe
- The faculty is very friendly and intelligent. They explain things and concepts very nicely and in a unique way
Dislikes
- Probably that there are about 5 dogs in the campus and they just get into the classrooms and elsewhere
- The washrooms gets very dirty and unhygienic sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview
The course content and structure is very good. Not only is it super practical, it takes a toll on the student to actually study in order to pass. Mugging up doesn't make a student pass in srcc. You need to study. Negatives are it is a very heavy course sometimes so we can't do a lot of societies with it that bcom students can do.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees was 33000 INR. Total of all three years is 88000-90000. A lot of scholarships are available for shri Ram College of commerce. For example, a merit based scholarship is offered, others involve sc/st
Campus Life
Every single day something is happening in the college. Societies conduct events and orientations are going on at the moment. The famous youtuber bhuvan bam recently came to our college. Classes are conducted and are mostly never cancelled. We have tute classes too. The sports complex is also very fun. Our hangout spots are the Nescafe and library.
Admission
I was AIR 30 and put srcc eco hons as my first preference. I had core math in my 12th grade so i wanted to study mathematics related course. And also I didn't like commerce and accounting so much. This course wass perfect for me. The admission process is through cuet only. It is a timetaking process but very good. Board marks are not the best way to give admission to student.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:50 for economics honors and for bcom honors it is around 1:60 Name of faculties I liked are Mr Ashwini he is our microeconomics teacher and he never teaches us from the books. He teaches in very innovative way
