Likes

First I am happy here nature and I'm happy that I am busy with daily schedules less involved in social media.
The weather here is good,it is not very hot, hence we do not need fans. Mos of the hostels do not have fan.
I am happy when we are playing volleyball in the evening.

Dislikes

Here is no any basketball court,this thing is disappointed me very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is bachelor of technology in electrical engineering.we are study in electrical appliances their uses and benifits. In future we are main lead in the world. Mostely things are used in the world is electricity.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise fees paid 1st semester tution fees = 37980 ; hostel fees = 2480 ; mess fess = 16000 2 semester Tution fees=31035; hostel fees=1980; mess fees=16000 NSP SCHOLARSHIP are provided in 12 class merit based. Same fees for all categories students.

Campus Life

My life is full in excitement, and I am joined technical and cultural club they are beneficial for me to improved my leadership, communication skills and confidence.my life is busy with those activities so I am less involved in social media.

Admission

I got this college only. But when we came to this college my mentality changed because this type of nature of study will not be provided in any college. my college is located away form market place which is good for students here to study.

Faculty

Faculties are very supportive specially my department (electrical engineering) faculty are very nice. They are friendly with students. In every department aprox 15-18 mein faculties. There are 6 exams in the whole year 4 are class tests and 2 are final exsms. Marking are according to performed by the students.

GEHU is Greatest!

Placement Experience:

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

Placement Experience:

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Oracle, Infosys, Magics and many more like in all Including GEU & GEHU around 150 companies came. Not all the technology but even finance and construction companies as for Civil not many choices are there but luckily our core jobs were provided and I am happy it happened.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
